Hello Emaaaa, thanks. have you chosen a hospital to use yet?. please do not use kingswill for anything. will give my reasons later.

Please can you give your reasons, cos I heard its one of the best in lagos, (fertile chick review). Plus I would like to know if it's your first cycle, remember ivf is not 100 % guarantee. I ve heard of some pple that got a positive result from them, as well as negative. it well with us in this journey. it's only God that has the final say, even in this ivf journey, the doctors can only try. I pray every chain of bareness is broken in our lives, in Jesus name. And we shall get positive results in every area of our lives, all our efforts shall not be in vain, in Jesus name. Amen

Thank you so much.
Gloriousheart:

About two months cos of tests. Started with HSG tests towards the middle of my cycle. Completed the other tests the following cycle.

You pay registration and consultation first. Sometimes you get to even see the fertility treatment facilitator to discuss your options. When you're sure of what you want, you then go and pay for registration /consultation. Then you get to consult with the doctor. This is a one time fee. Subsequent consultations are already covered.

When you're set to start tests, you pay for your tests all at once.
Also, You pay for the treatment itself all at once when you're about to start taking medications/start the IUI cycle on the 2nd or 3rd day of your new cycle.

Am 41 and have been trying for 8years this journey is an emotional one, I need your prayers and support. Thank you all.

The success rate of IVF at Kingswill is low now. Recently, they transferred 11embryo to 11people. Only two came out positive.

Before now, If Kingswill fertility transfer 10embryo to 10people, only one or two we will be negative.

Things are not really going well with them now. I visited the place last two week. The story from people was not really encouraging

Eyaa. That's not encouraging at all. I hope they didn't let their little success get into their head and then neglected to give the procedures their best shot.
If their IVF records is now like this, imagine if I had used them for IUI?! Hmm. I had already gotten their price list and I was seriously considering them last year. It is well. I hope they get back on track.

Mama Priscaver ,I wish you resounding first try success.
Pls you know the drill. Prepare as much as you can and try to tackle any underlying issue to an extent before going in for the actual procedure. Prayers, faith and preparation is key.

Emaaaaaaa ,why don't you find out more about Olive branch for Lagos IVF? At least, I heard the Dr there is very meticulous and has an eye for perfection. So he may likely put his all into the procedure. Though, I heard that he's also a bit cocky. Don't know if this has changed now. But you know what you want, so one can choose to overlook any negative thing and concentrate on getting that bfp.

For Abuja, Grabbo and Diff fertility hospitals (spelling check). Diff has the best records for difficult cases. Very expensive though.

Thank you sis for the advice. I would have preferred Olive branch because things are really working for them. IVF success rate is high but IVF/ICSI cost 1.6million. I only have 1million with me now

It is well. Don't throw away the one million sha. Go to the one with better success rates. It may not be Olive branch. Do your findings. Is it not ICSI you want to do? Not every fertility hospital can do this one well. You need a very reputable clinic that has high success rate in ICSI not just IVF. It's not guaranteed but we can do our best too to help ourselves get the best. God will continue to help us all.

Hope ur retrieval went well?

Watch out for bloating and constipation after retrieval.
The basic thing is to take lots of water. Some people suggested coconut water and eggs.
Eat lots of vegetables, fruits and protein.

After transfer take things a bit easier than before incase u have a strenuous job.

I don't recommend bed rest cos u need blood circulation to ur uterus.

Just don't lift heavy things or do strenuous exercises. You can take walks.

There are suggestions like, socks for a few days, pineapple core for 5 days, not bathing for a few days (but all of these are neither here nor there).

Above all, please Pray!!!
Kindly share update please and the hospital used

Dear fruitful mamas, i started my treatment with Nordica. started stimulation last 2 weeks with high dosage (because of age)for the injection and i have gone for scan for 3 times and they only saw 2 follicles which they said is too low that i need to have at least 4 follicles for a positive result. I was so down when the doctor told me this and he said i can cancel the procedure or go ahead with 2 follicles which he said that they do not know whether it has a viable eggs.

He also said i can use a donor which i do not want to use because i believe that i can still use my egg for the ivf and get a positive result. So dh and i have decided to freeze the 2 follicles and do another cycle to collect more follicles( will still pay again)for the ivf.

Please mamas what should i do to improve my ovary reserve and egg. I am 42 yrs and i have been trying for 7 yrs, i have not gotten pregnant since i married. I am sooo down and worried. I do not know what else to do. I want to carry my own children.

Please beautiful mamas someone should help me.
Re: Anyone Trying IVF/IUI/ICSI (Fertility Treatments)? by Perculiar: 5:14pm On Jun 25, 2019
It will surely end in praise, you will carry your own children.

will advice you place your self on ubiquinol active form of coq10, DHEA and N-acetyl Cysteine for 2-3 months before starting again. You should read the book it starts with an egg all I stated are listed there.

You also need to make lifestyle changes e.g stop the use of plastics, chemical(cream, perfumes deodorant etc), feed on fruits and vegetables, less carbohydrate and fatty foods. That's all to groom your eggs for the next one

Why Nordics and not Olive branch. For your age I will recommend Olive branch. I have heard about olive branch handled women of 44 and we're successful. Nevertheless I wish you success in which ever path you decide to take.
