Anambra State government has engaged the services of Sweet Home Cleaning Service, for daily cleaning of the Jerome Udorji Secretariat Complex in Awka.

This is in a bid to ensure conducive work environment for civil servants and the right clean atmosphere for members of the public, who have businesses to transact at the complex.

A report says that no fewer than fifty-three cleaners were seen
recently carrying out cleaning services at block C within the complex.
As part of their routine, they will sweep offices and grounds while
ensuring that the buildings and surroundings are kept clean on a Daily basis.

They will also ensure that toilets should be kept clean at all times,
co-ordinate the management of wastes within the facility.

The cleaners are expected to report damage of facilities and those for
repairs or replacements where necessary to the Ministry of Housing.
In an interview, Mr Samuel Dominic, one of the supervisors noted that
part of his job is always to ensure that the cleaners are punctual and
effective at their various assigned duty posts.

He enjoined the cleaners to be dedicated to duty, warning that
inactive ones among them will be replaced

Umuchu community internal roads getting asphalt

As usual, pouring asphalt on red soil. Who are these contractors self? Don't they care about their reputation if these roads get bad after 2 years? I like Obiano's target and mission to fix most of the roads in Anambra but, he should also think about what people will say if these roads get bad after few years of construction. If Ebonyi state can invest in concrete roads why can't Obiano do such and set a long lasting legacy of road construction? Someone should tell Obiano to inform these contractors to stop pouring asphalt on red soil please.

Chino, you are an angel sent to nairaland. Abakaliki people are too backward to live among decent people. They are nothing but nuisance to Anambra state. One guy here said that Anambra people are also found in other states. True that, but you only find us in the major cities there dominating the indigenes. But ugly-looking abakaliki people and their lazy wawa companions are found even in the most interior villages of Anambra committing crime and doing agbero. They contribute nothing to the development of where they find themselves. They are just parasites!

Stop bringing Ebonyi state into our discourse here this boy.

If ebonyi state is so important to you, open a thread for them and propagate that agenda there.

Stop littering here with unruly and barbaric comments.

not to make a case for low quality but I feel this is done to save cost.

These roads won’t have heavy traffic so am sure it won’t collapse anytime soon.

Added to that, it’s an internal street road in umuchu. Not the capital or a large community..not even the major road in the community but a street road in the village.

Thanks to this thread, I found out modern architecture are even cheaper to construct than our normal buildings.

Tho am currently searching for a contractor to embark on it but the info was first posted here.

Dunno why the owner of this thread isn't reporting these bullies when thyve notice the spate of bullying has made good posters like investnow etc to stop posting here.

Pay no mind to bullies, they’re insecure
Thanks and have a nice day.

After a whole 8 years the Peter Obi vuvuzelas will never mention any tangible thing Obi did without lying like their master.
Imagine achievements after 8 years:
Started construction of shopping malls grin But started and completed his private shopping mall?

Built stadia in Awka and Onitsha? Where? cheesy

Put first traffic lights in Awka? Obiano put the first traffic light at Eke Awka.

Took Anambra to first position in school leaving exams because he was writing the exam for the students. Interesting

Soludo attracted CBN to Awka

Bought innoson vehicles. So these were the points you wanted to use to oppose Armon’s well articulated points. You should be ashamed of yourself

Can you mention any tangible thing Obiano has achieved apart from signing MOUs up and down?

Chino, keep following the footsteps of your father who's life was like that of Unoka in Things fall apart. At 43, you are still squatting in someone's boys quarters at Udoka Estate. Don't worry, I'll employ you as foreman when my factory starts operation in Mgbakwu. Keep making mockery of yourself and family here. A fool at 40 they say is a fool forever.

As per wasting away in London, don't worry; where my British passport can take me, your zoo passport can't even go near. Okpo.
