Good day all, pls kindly advice me. My brother left a Mercedes E200 1996 for me and relocated, though the car is still running but needs a little work here and there. So am considering selling it for 200k or fixing it to my taste in order to flex.but I need advice from car gurus here cause I have not own a car before.some of my friends are writing it off with the statement that it's old and out of fashion but I like the car so on the other hand is the car parts especially the interior available.

For the automatic Gear,..."mechanic refers to one type as manual cable and the other as electric, former is better"....what ever this means, still trying to rap my head round it.
E200, fuel consumption is better than Camry big for nothing, all things been equal.
It's not regarded as a car with vintage status by the way.
Parts are getting scarce, tried to replace gear found out many in market are refurbished and getting costly to keep up maintenance.
If up to date in maintenance, you should be good to go.
Treat it well, and it will do same
