You cant do a fresh passport . You have to replace the old one.

I’m a lady by the way and my reason and only reason for visiting was shopping and sight seeing. Sorry that I didn’t have more elaborate plans. But I will spend my vacation how I intend to and will never lie just to secure a visa. There are other countries to visit. If us no give me another one go give me if I choose to try. If not I save my money and remain in my country. It’s not that serious.

I think it’s more about the initial use of the visa than subsequent uses. For you to have approached them for a visa, you must have intended to use it for something. If it had been used for that purpose, subsequent uses will matter less. Unfortunately, it didn’t quite happen like that for you. This was my post last year warning folks to desist going to US embassy and now it’s even getting worse.

Why complaining so much? Nobody is forcing you to apply to US visa and to pay. It's your own decision. You wish to visit, study or live in USA? It's a country which wants to open doors for visitors and newcomers or the country which wants to lock the doors. Compare to your own house. Would you accept to come to your house and open doors to anybody from the street? Same with countries, doors locked when the house is full or the owners of the house don't like some visitors.

You see how many are denied. Stop applying, don't lose your money.

I don't believe you're trying to make excuses for him when it's obvious he already stated that he knows that his family is living in the US illegally.

Better forget him and go with your hotel booking. Its possible hes illegal there. Your chances of getting the visa is slim (generally speaking ,adding an illegal sending you an IV will make your chances zero.

He has USA passport and I got his link through a friend...

Don't mind him! Instead he's asking for tips on how to avoid being banned.

Landed in Hartsfield ATL. All i was asked " why is your family still in the states" and i responded " We are battling with marital issues" she wanted some time away. I had an onward ticket,hotel reservation for Canada though. I just pack everything put for the guy desk and left him to go through them. I am not saying i am not in the wrong but some people on this thread can make Otedola feel like their house boy sha.

Please i want to confirm if applicant can change state to visit in US after one year of refusal?? first application was new york city with hotel booking, he filled he does not have anyone there and he was denied! He wants to reapply again after one year, but thinking of visiting Houston Texas where he have a family friend, also he intent to use his family friend address as contact person in USA.. but he will be staying in hotel maybe pay him visit when he arrive, just 2weeks leave. will he have issue if he change state of arriver in his application? yes you can change the state, but there is a place on ds 160 where you will add up all where you're intended to visit, try and add 2 to 3 place to visit

So basically you want to use a stranger as a link to travel to the US? It must really be a matter of life and death.
