I don't know how lucky I'll be, hope i won't finish all my connects before I land a new contract?

With my 120 connects I can only apply to 20 jobs.

Well, I still have some free connects. I don't think it's
fixed at $5, depends on how quick one get hired. I need 6 connects to apply to any job in my niche, that's $0.9. On the average, I may need to apply to about 6-10 jobs before getting hired.

I pray i get a new one before I exhaust my free connects.

I bought connects yesterday, I wanted a new contract and i started to apply to jobs, I exhausted my free connects in a week.

I had 118 free connects, i really don't apply to many jobs before i knew it 2 connects left cos i applied to contracts requiring 6 connects.

Out of about 15 jobs, i think i had gotten only 8 interview invites. Waitng to get called, i just pray for a positive outcome on one.

What I do is to go back and check the job profile. For these 3 experiences I had, they had hired another freelancer and he/she did not do well. So, I don't beg clients, I let it play out.

And again, the fact that am a Nigerian, am very careful with clients, i dont want to sound despirate or sound hungry. I give myself and my country image.
