Naija aff tire me. Football, one of the few things giving us happiness and keeping us together vis-a-vis Unity in Diversity. Yet some incompetent football administrators still find a way to truncate our joy.

The Patience Avres and Rashidi Yekinis of this world didn't have it so big, yet they didn't give this much trouble. I just wonder why we bother watching this selfish immature generation of Eagles and the Falcons when there are professionals in other so-called lesser sports who play for passion and love for their fatherland. Well that's what you get for not paying enough attention to wrestling, boxing etc. The NFF are a disgrace but so are modern day footballers representing this country.

I wish we could just pull them out of the mickey-mouse tourney already. Bloody primadonas!

WWE is not a sport.

Let them start bringing in the excuses early... I am not even banking on them winning the bloody trophy.

That aside, we have continually failed our sports men and women. It would have been funny if it wasn't pathetic and sad.

This country should be proscribed by FIFA as a non-football terrorist nation. NONSENSE!!!

I can almost bet it with anyone that this isn't the fault of NFF but of the lifeless president who will not constitute cabinet immediately after inauguration.

With a minister in place and early submission of budget to NASS, this sort of national embarrassment can always be prevented.

A minister would have facilitated an early release of all allowances.

This is why we say that Nigeria lacks a government since 2015 or maybe we have one which goes backward while every nation is striving to move forward.I thought the lifeless one was reported to be watching the super Eagles against Burundi. So, he was watching the boys that he hasn't paid. Very inept, lifeless and wicked soul!

MY ADVICE to the boys: Boycott match sef if your allowance is not paid. Nigeria is not worth dying for. Is it not the same Naija where cows are more important than human beings, and Buhari's terrorists (Boko boys and Fulani herdsmen) more important than peace-loving Nigerians?

You’ve got no point. All i see is hatred for the president and nothing more. Did FIFA and CAF not give NFF money? Don’t they collect grants anymore? Did NFF blame it on the government or was it the budget of 2019 NFF wants to use in paying our super falcons the money owed them ever since 2012? Use your brain and don’t let hatred consume you

Your assertion doesn’t make sense.

2019 budget has been passed by the National Assembly and signed by the President since a May. What has constitution of cabinet got to do with routine work of NFF or are the new ministers going to prepare new budget for 2019?

These players are not civil servants, their invitation is a privilege.
They are a bunch of entitled and greedy assholes who only play for money
and nothing else.

National embarrassment!

Those smaller African countries be looking at our team like "Is that the team of the so called Giant of Africa."

. You still think other African countries see Nigeria as the giant of Africa? Think again bro.

With your way of thinking, you’d never succeed in business. Never ever ever work for free!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If your own family need your services, charge them half or quarter price but never work for free.
Nobody on earth appreciates something they didn’t pay for.
They should have refused the invitation.
Bunch of greedy players.

Abeg these players should lose and come back joor...

Who send them?

With the myriad of problems facing Nigeria at the moment, super eagles matter is inconsequential cos they all play for the money now..

None of them genuinely love the Jersey like the USA 1994 and Atlanta 1996 super eagles boys.

Nevertheless NFF is still bleeped up.

This embarrassment should stop na. The players and NFF are all bunch of selfish individuals jare.
especially the players....I know that it is their right to demand for their pay but most of them end millions and millions of naira from their clubs every week and this money doesn't even compare. there are better ways of demanding for their pay instead of embarrassing the nation publicly. The captain should engage the management of the federation and I know very well that the federation is trying and maybe the present lack of sports minister is affecting this payment issue too. This players are fucken greedy abeg. Last year at the world cup they got all their money before the competition started and they couldn't even get pass the group stage. There are civil servants and public servants in Nigeria especially the army that work even harder than this yeye footballers but they don't end up to half of what this players end from the country still they parade themselves as ungrateful humans...They are a lot of youths in Nigeria looking for an opportunity to play football for Nigeria even for as low as 100thousand monthly but this ones are privileged but greedy as well. playing for their nation should be a thing of pride. Them de mad sef. if they like make dem no train

You're getting it wrong
The player should have refused invitation because they know this is what Nigeria do best
I guess this is what mikel inclusion is all about after all
I know there are million of Nigeria n youth willing to put on the Nigeria jersey for free

Bros, the job or business you are doing is it for free? This guy's are footballers and that's their career where they earn a living. You now expect them to work free. I advice you to go and challenge your Legislators who collect millions for sleeping in the National Assembly to make sacrifice for the country

Then dont support super eagles then
