First, welcome to the journey. The decision is the first step. My family was right where you are now sometime in 2016. First, there are a lot of factors involved. your age, your hubby's age. whose income is more defined or traceable, who is most resilient etc. Your law will give good points as it will be evaluated as a professional degree. His HND could also do that as it could be evaluated as 2 or more certs. Whoever is younger between you two is who is most recommended to be the PA. For noc codes, you can use this link to check which you both fall into: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/express-entry/eligibility/find-national-occupation-code.html

Sales and account reps fall under C so it will not be valid for EE. Howver, technical sales specialist does. So that means the type of sales rep he is will determine if his work will be valid for the process or not.

For yours, its 4112 under A so you are valid

....my submission, be the PA.

Cheers!
Hello sir, I'm a novice in this EE journey. I have distinction in HND. I'm about to write ielts and evaluate my results. During the evaluation do I have to send my o level results to Wes together with my transcript.
people in the house kindly put me through the requirements for EE.

thanks

You only have to send your HND certificate and O'Level to Wes. (There is someone here who helps with WAEC).

For IELTS, I have no doubt that with your HND Distinction, this would be a walk in the park for you.

Good luck!

It may be hard to dig up someone that has gone through that. It is a 50-50 thing. Every case is looked at individually and the case handler atimes decides how it goes. I used just reference letter and no other document was requested to back up my employment. Some did the same and got an ADR for pay slips/pay stubs, proof of payment into bank account, employment letter and the likes...so you see...it all depends. A long time ago though i read of someone who was paid by hand too but i honestly cannot remember how that ended. Cheers!

EDIT: Found this on first page for a couple of folks paid in cash who eventually got PPR: https://www.nairaland.com/5031893/canadian-express-entry-federal-skilled/142#76663649

Thanks sir, may God continue to bless you, please did you state it in your reference letter that you are paid in cash? Maybe that is why ADR was not requested thanks.

IQAS will evaluate just your LLB as a professional degree, which will earn you the same points as a master's degree.

Did you let him/her know that the evaluation will be ready by Nov/Dec?

i think you should just call.. With Qlife i believe the person you speak with determines the response, i was able to send a mail and book before ITA and even reschedule with favorable dates and this is very recent.

You have come to the right place.

First you need to determine if your current job is eligible for Federal Skill Worker program.

Second, BSc alone cannot grant you sufficient points going by recent trends. Even if your spouse contributes the max 30point available to dependent spouse.

You may have to enlist in short courses like BCS, NACETEM, Unilag HRDC, CIMA, NOUN PGD etc to claim 2 or more certificate/diploma to boost your score.

You also need to postpone writing IELTS for now until you get any of these additional certificates.

Yes you can apply alone and add him later but it is generally advised not to do so because of the complexities associated with such. He would also need to do medicals, PCC and you also need to show POF to cover him.

There are number of evaluating bodies that do not require you to send WAEC/NECO. ICES, ICAS will suffice since you still have time

Lastly, it's not appropriate to say your husband is perpetually broke on a public forum.

P. S: READ, READ, READ THIS FORUM. LET IT BE YOUR BIBLE

Thank you so much for taking out time to explain these and for the correction. My current job role is "Lead Client Support* (Customer service Lead) I believe this is eligible for Federal Skill Worker program.

Sorry to ask o... Why only his/her HND cert? I thought the idea is to claim points for 2 or more certs... Or does having a distinction nullify the ND amd still claim point for 2 or more cert?

Maybe try PNP, except you want to go for a master's degree. Because even if your spouse takes IELTS and evaluates his Bsc, your score will still be around 426. Even if he is the PA, maybe around 431. Draw scores these days are in the 460s. See the link below for the PNP programs, that could give you extra 600points and earn you an ITA

Disclaimer 1: I may make some enemies today

Disclaimer 2: I am a person of faith and I know that the impossible can happen

Disclaimer 3: I am in the pool....waiting, so I’m not poking fun at anyone

Disclaimer 4: The data in the table below is from NL so it may have some errors

…but I gotta show you guys the trend and some historical data, see the table below and concentrate on the 451-600 row….there are 7 times more people in the 451 to 600 range in June 2019 than there were just 2 years ago. Even if the fortnightly draws were 4,000…..the days of 440 may be gone…..younger more educated peeps are joining the race it seems.

I’m kicking myself for my inaction last year; maybe I would have been one of the 438 or 439 ITAans in Dec/Jan…….SO…. I’m just hoping to encourage someone here to the use the time wisely, get a second degree, start French lessons and ace TEF (as Njbybrthnly take do, enough Indians on Canadavisa studying for TEF), sponsor a sibling for 15 points, redo the IETLS, remark it sef if money for redo no too dey........either way do something; you never know the one God will use to show you mercy…..

Hello everyone,so I got my PPR on June 14th (Yay!!!)and it's been very busy trying to sort things out in preparation but I have to give back to the place I got so much information from.

My NOC is 6332(Baker) self employed, I was worried because I researched and never saw anyone with that code. Am a qualified professional but that's where I could earn points. Basically, seen alot of people asking questions about bakers,I submitted as proof were

Tax clearance ( I have been paying my tax over the years as it's a requirement to get contracts with some established brands),

reference letters from old customers, new customers and suppliers,Some of them had commended me on social media for jobs I had done and added their social media links and phone numbers

Company( yes,I had an incorporated business) bank statements that showed transactions with those customers and suppliers ( I am also sole signatory to account)

Certificate of baker related trainings attended, CAC documents and Lagos state bakers association membership certificate ( forgot to add my membership ID card)

POF proof and my personal account statement

Overall I prayed and fasted

Please note that since I started the process I have been consistent in paying myself salary(2yrs no default even when business was tight),so this will reflect in my personal account.

*I also tried to have more regular posts on Instagram after AOR. They called my company line to make enquiries because my staff reported a foreign number +1.... Called and was asking questions about what we do,thank God he answered well( I pretended it wasn't relevant while he was talking but I was so happy he spoke well)

To everyone trying to use this NOC, I hope these points help. All the best !! Thank you to all that shared freely here
