Yes but both have expiry dates.

Medicals are valid for 12 months so you don't want to do it too far in advance of when you think you will get ITA. You will need to land within that twelve month period or redo the meds. So try to time it close to your ITA if you can.

PCCs also have expiry.

Thank you so much for your kind heart, God bless you.

Maximum thanks to God for making this possible. I know its ITA, but i'll be an ingrate not to thank Him for this "little" win. It's a confidence booster that the major testimony is coming, even in a short time.

to everyone who is expectant, God will surely do it. never lose faith. NEVER.

They sent it on the 29th of May, Unilag received it on the 17th of June. That is about 18days. I think unilag was waiting for the hard copy via regular mail hence the delay.

How come mine that was sent on the 22nd of May is yet to be received by Unilag?

Disclaimer 1: I may make some enemies today

Disclaimer 3: I am in the pool with sub 440, so I’m not poking fun at anyone

Disclaimer 4: The data in the table below is from NL so it may have some errors

…but I gotta show you guys the trend and some historical data, see the table below and concentrate on the 451-600 row….there are 7 times more people in the 451 to 600 range in June 2019 than there were just 2 years ago. Even if the fortnightly draws were 4,000…..the days of 440 may be gone…..younger more educated peeps are joining the race it seems.

I’m kicking myself for my inaction last year; for not redoing IETLS to see if I could get 7.5 in writing for 3 extra marks, for not starting spouse’s ECA before my “minus 5” day,  maybe I would have been one of the 438 or 439 ITAans in Dec/Jan…….SO…. I’m just hoping to encourage someone here to the use the time wisely, get a second degree, start French lessons and ace TEF (as Njbybrthnly take do, enough Indians on Canadavisa studying for TEF), sponsor a sibling for 15 points, redo the IETLS (look at that sister whose husband did it 15 times), remark it sef if money for redo no too dey, marry a younger person with PhD, Canadian experience and Canadian education (na joke o)……either way do something; you never know the one God will use to show you mercy…..but please I beg you, don’t sit and wait for scores drop.

Except of course you don’t want to go again….in which case….chillax and be singing: I like am, I like am o……me I like my country, I like the land and people, everything e dey for Nigeria, make we join hand to make Nigeria greater!!! PS: if you can’t remember this jingle then ….don’t worry 1990s baby…. wink

Thanks for this analysis.
To also add, i will advise that whatever you can do, do it quickly and try to secure AOR or at least ITA before the canadian elections in October because you never know what may change after that.

Point is, whatever is within your control, make sure you control it as fast as possible.

Hi all,
So i have been going through the thread for a while and i and hubby have tried to get as many info as we can but still need some answers, will be glad if anybody can help us out. The goal is 2020 but we want to prepare ahead

I have a Bsc in Agricultural Economics but presently working as an accountant, by 2020 I should have a little bit over two years of verifiable work experience. I recently applied for a Masters at Unilag to help boost our point but then I feel the certificate might not be ready when we need it, i just started my ACCA exams, so its impossible to use that so we are thinking I run a PGD course at NOUN cos i read where someone said NOUN certificate can be evaluated by WES and i will get it within a year

Hubby on the other hand has a HND certificate in Computer Science but is presently running his BSC. We are also not sure if the certificate will be ready by 2020. He has over 5 years of verifiable work experience as an IT support Engineer. He is thinking of doing the BCS diploma exam, we got that info from here too.

We both plan to do IELTS and WES evaluation

With this little story of mine, please who do you think will fit more to be the P/A, if i can get a PGD certificate by 2020 and he can get the BCS diploma certification.

Will really appreciate a response. Thank you

what are your ages.
He had ond and hnd gives him same points as hnd and bsc. Bsc plus acca f1 to f9 can be used. Same points with your husband. Na who young pass go determine PA
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 8 by TemiGee: 4:13pm On Jun 27, 2019
@izzyAde why wait till 2020? Why don't you start now. Hubby has HND and OND, he can get evaluated as two or more degrees with WES. He doesn't need the BCS. That will cost more money and will still be two or more degrees. He has 5 years experience, which makes him the best person as P.A. (I assume his age is not too advanced)

By this time next year. 470 may struggle to get ITA. Who knows. "There is no time to check time"

Dear good people of Canada, this is just an observation, and my opinion, from trends of prospective Nairalanders seeking info going back to the previous parts of this section. It can be taken or let go!

Situations where people come to the forum to seek help or advice and the contents of the write ups are loaded with either outright or laced denigration of their spouse/partner is not the best.

Yes, we have challenges, yes our partners may be sometimes 'uncooperative', but that is still not a sufficient grounds to wash these valued persons here in public, wittingly or not.

I have been through this myself and its not something I cannot relate with. However, the love we profess, if its still there, should not be taken away by Cannyland dreams. IMO. We think we can go it alone until the other party is no longer there and you truly need someone to count on. No affection, support you get from this forum or elsewhere can surpass that of a commited partner! And for those hurting, and rightly so, we can seek help to help us heal and not use the 'tonto dikeh' method - pun intended. You can imagine how your partner will feel stumbling on or reading up some of these write ups one day..... It may or may not be funny.

And before someone takes me on, and while I also wait for the good success in this journey like many good-spirited guys here, it took me almost 6 months to convince my spouse to write IELTS. Not because she wasn't good, but just the fear of failing, I perceive and I may be wrong. I took it upon myself to study well and passed at one sitting LSWR - 8/8/7/8.5 in September to further encourage her. Still, she did not sit the exams until January this year. While I boil atimes reading people's success stories here, I still have to patiently use persuasive appeal till she agreed to December, then January, then I will do it later. Eventually she sat only once in January and had the score required to complement for US. Yes, for those of us married, it is an US thing. At least as long as we are married! I came to this forum to seek help on if I should go ahead and book medicals with a 440 score. As usual, many came with negative comments. But, only Ifeoma77 (and I'm bolding this part as a lesson for us on this platform) said please go ahead and book, you will likely get an invitation within the next 3 draws. And so it happened, as if she were a prophetess. Did I begrudge the others, NO!. Do I appreciate what Ifeoma77 said, YES, to the moon and back. Everyone will agree that she's a sweet spirited fellow, whom I've never met or spoken to.

Finally, and not to deviate too much from my point, I will conclude by admonishing everyone passing through what I have described above, either below or above it, that my philosophy remains "There is very little you can do about other people's bad behaviour than to be correct yourself". Be the change you seek. If your spouse is sick, you're both sick; if s/he's rich, you're both rich; if s/he's poor, you're both poor; and if you come here to portray to us that your spouse is unintelligent, I'm sorry, you're both unintelligent. A mixture of 2 different people with varying strengths is the elixir of any strong relationship.

I hope someone picks a lesson from this.

Kind regards.
