0.5% actually not 5%
kingpaddysfarm:

403 including charges and extra 10k. You could say it’s lower than 400 because the charges should be 5% of whatever you transfer. In my case 8924 (BA/health insurance charges).

Secondly, Official rate doesn’t necessarily mean lower than 400, official rate is whatever the fx says. Form A only guarantee you’ll get it at CBN rate which is the official fx rate not the parallel market rate of the aboki’s and other transactions. Most times banks sells higher than the abokis, hope you know that.

For those asking about using form A to transfer to BA, yes it’s possible. It worked for me. All you need to do is to get a letter from your school indicating that the money is for your living expenses for one year in Germany. They should state Your full name and the required amount (€8640). I used zenithbank
at what rate sir

NijaDueprocess:
You are correct, zenith bank lure people with the use of form A telling you they are using cbn official rate and later funds your account with a rate even higher than the parallel market. Currently I am having a legal battle with them, I was given cbn official rate before the transaction and they ended up using a rate higher than even the parallel market rate. I have written cbn with all the proof and my next line of action is to write to cpc, efcc etc and publish it in national daily. We wouldn't continue to be duped by these banks, they use your document to source for funds at official rate from cbn with the use of form A and sell it to you at exorbitant rate and still collect bank charges for the transaction. This scam and injustice will have to stop and I am ready for this battle

Bros what was the CBN rate they gave you and what rate were you finally given/ how much did you transfer?

All these banks are playing us. They'll use our document to collect official rate from CBN and they'll resell it to us at their own rate..

403 is parallel MKT price
349 is CBN rate (though fluctuate with fractions)

Cancel and book again correctly. This is if you haven’t gotten date tho, if you have a date you probably should mail them and confirm if it poses a threat to your application ( Dates are scarce now)

Guy, please type in normal font. Biko

Surely that can't be your contribution to this topic, seriously? if you don't mind me asking how old are you?

When I checked my profile this morning I saw the notification at the top of my profile that I was quoted on this thread, I quickly clicked on the last page of the thread as I was hoping someone had made a relevant contribution to the topic however I was disappointed when I noticed that your "contribution" was a ridiculous child like attempt to court attention, in some way you could say it worked because I had a look at your profile and I noticed that this isn't just an isolated case, you seem to have a habit of trying to pick unnecessary quarrels with people here, I guess courting attention validates your miserable existence and makes you feel good about yourself. Sometimes certain people try to find cheap laughs at the expense of others and end up making a total mockery of themselves. Shame you couldn't make a single relevant contribution to the discussion. I would like to believe we are all adults here, I would advice that you try to behave more like a reasonable adult rather than a miserable degenerate.

You just made my point for me. It was not Form A funding. The banks are using people to make money as others have pointed out.
Form A is 347.... Could change most times

If date hasn't been given to you, cancel and rebook.
If you have a date already, go for the interview. The booking is just for the gate pass, and so far the names match those on your passport with the ID, you're okay.

You'll have to search for them bro.
DAAD, Wikipedia, etc will give you lists. You can also mail their course coordinators to that effect.

Hello People, I sincerely need your advice. I just discovered i actually met the requirements of one of these schools whose deadline is july 15th but i have to send my certified docs to the school. i have actually send docs to two schools via courier before now and really short of cash. is it advisable i use NIPOST. please has anyone use NIPOST? How is their service like? is it fast? the deadline is july 15th

Please don't try it. If you're in Lagos, I believe you can use Aramex - which is cheaper. Or use other ones. Please

You see reasons why we advocate you guys read up information here, if you are still asking this questions by this time, am sorry to say, you have somehow goofed yourself. You are busy looking for whatsapp group to join abi, I just dey watch as una dey mumu una self. Someone brought out an obscure link and you are everywhere asking for add ups. You didn't even ask yourself some pertinent questions before jumping into the lagoon of misery.

You see say I no carry my church mind talk to you, cos you Bleep up big time. No think say I dey vex with you, but I want you to understand something which you will have to move up with, which is carry out due diligence on time.

Back to your question, go and book category A as fast as possible and pray make embassy look your side cos dates are fast running out presently. Soonest they will stop giving out dates. A word they say is enough for the wise.
People like you are the ones that feel they know all. I just joined this thread yesterday and wanted to seek information. The others that replied me in a cool and matured manner, do they have two heads? "I goofed myself. I bleeped up etc". Why all these words? Do you know me from anywhere? You come dey give advise after you don put Shit ontop the fried rice and chicken. My man, I want you to know that not everyone can be like you. Some people are new here, like me. Irrespective of any question, there is no need to throw attacks on the person. Thats what makes a thread interesting. Mind you, it's not a must you reply anyone. You can just ignore, if you are disgusted by any question.
I respect you bro. I demand same also. Thanks

They told me 342/euros which was even the cbn rate for that day and I was given at 409.7/euros(even higher than aboki rate) . The truth is stay away from banks that promise heaven and earth to scam you with the use of CBN form A. Example Zenith bank, they end up using a higher rate
