Moments When Major-general Gowon And Colonel Obasanjo Accept Biafra's Surrender by FemiOtawa: 6:16am On Jun 28, 2019 |
The Nigerian Civil War, also known as the Biafran War and the Nigerian-Biafran War (6 July 1967 – 15 January 1970), was a war fought between the government of Nigeria and the secessionist state of Biafra. Biafra represented nationalist aspirations of the Biafran people, whose leadership felt they could no longer coexist with the Northern-dominated federal government. Ojukwu fled into exile by plane to the Ivory Coast, leaving his deputy Philip Effiong to handle the details of the surrender to General Yakubu Gowon of the Federal Army on 13 January 1970 The surrender paper was signed on 14 January 1970 in Lagos and thus came the end of the civil war. Fighting ended a few days later. Watch Video: https://www.femiotawa.com/2019/06/moments-when-major-general-gowon-and.html 1 Like

So, after fighting against Biafra and going through butt shootings where are they now? Are they not crying all over the social media? The fulanis they helped to fight biafra are kidnapping and killing them? Obasanjo has recently realised he is being fulanized and islamised. I laugh, cos they are all drowning in shame. Like Ohamadike will always say, you can never defend or support fulanis without coming back in shame. Biafrans are taking over education, entrepreneurs, entertainment, technologies and innovations, winning political positions in saner climes. While their people are lavishing in peanury/hunger, backwardness and ritualism, voting an incompetent buffoon to spite their neighbours but are all suffering for it. 43 Likes 8 Shares |

QueenSekxy: Your said Biafrans are taking over education, innovation and some other dreams, wake up girl, Biafrans are only taking over drugs, kidnapping, armed robbery and human trafficking. All these are your generational inherited trades. Biafrans are developing yet your region is so bad that you all want to die in Yoruba land. As Yorubas pray to go to Heaven, Biafrans pray to go to Lagos. Even when Fashola abducted you miscreants all over Lagos and dumped you at Upper Iweka Bridge Head in Onitsha at 2:00AM, in less than 10 minutes you have all jumped into the next available trailer taken cows to Lagos. 17 Likes 3 Shares |

Nwodosis: If there is any region in pains, it is Biafra. You don't want one Nigeria, yet you are all in even the most remote villages in Zamfara, Sokoto, Bornu, Katsina, Osogbo, Ilorin, Ibadan. Why can't you stay in your erosion and crime ravaged region where drug criminals build Churches and even come to the Churchill to kill each other in continuation of fighting in South Africa, Europe, America, Asia over drugs money? Stay in your region nah and let Nigerians enjoy Nigeria. 8 Likes 2 Shares |

Oh, by the way, Yorubas and Huass/fulanis are in the most remote villages in the East and South south. You are just too dumb to know that. 4 Likes

Why is it that any time a unanimous repulsion of the fulani militia is about to get to the flash point, someone here on Nairaland will bring the war stories to create distraction? I've noticed this for long now. Any way, what must be must be. We're watching. 3 Likes |
