In my case I have written to zenith to refund my money then I copied cbn on the mail. Zenith bank is scam on using CBN form A, I authorize them to fund my account with 8829 euros after they told me the rate for the day is 342/euros so I had to transfer the equivalent of 8829euros at the rate of 342/euros into my zenith taking into consideration slight change that might occur during the processing of CBN form A, rather they went and funded my block account with just 7500euros at the rate of 409.7/euros without my consent 2 Likes 1 Share |

Kennyubah: I haven't in anyway demanded that people answer my question, you might even notice that sometimes I start my question with the words "please' as I understand that no one here is I also noticed you made a comment about me being high and mighty, I think that accusation should be channeled towards you, you said the questions I asked are "funny and basic", in doing so you showed your "high and mighty" personality! in a forum where everyone is entitled to ask questions and learn, you accuse me of asking funny questions, what could possibly be more condescending and arrogant than that? Do I really need your PERMISSION to seek knowledge and answers to issues that I know nothing about? The fact that you already have the answer to certain questions doesn't make those questions funny and basic (whatever that means) , one of the foundations of human existence is interaction and acquisition of knowledge, so I think its very high and mighty of you to assume that a question is basic and funny because you already know the answer to that particular question. You probably possess infinite wisdom so please ignore those of us who aren't as knowledgeable as you are! If you think of yourself so intelligent to not respond to my "basic" questions then that's ok, just kindly move on until someone with less knowledge comes along to answer my "funny" questions. Now if you don't mind, I would like to go back to asking funny questions, I mean I had no idea I was funny all this time, perhaps I could consider stand up comedy considering how funny my questions are. 4 Likes |

Hi, please I need help on this. I have posted in the German job seekers thread but it does not seem active. Is there anyone who is currently on it or knows anyone who is? I would need advice. I plan on doing it but worried about a couple of this issues. Tried doing some digging but haven't found anything specific. I know it's the wrong thread that why I am not putting my questions yet. |

mayorflexzy: Thanks for your response. Sorry if my choice of words sounds harsh. If you read through what I commented, I said I was not angry with you as I don't even know who you are and i also told you that you should have done your due diligence on time. Being a new comer the first thing you need to do is to skim through the contents of the thread to observe how the flow of things are. You take absolutely responsibility for any action you take be in public or in private. This thread is such a wonderful one as a good number of persons can attest to that fact and one can easily find help or easily be scammed as well. You just came in new and you are seeking for whatsapp adds, you didn't observe the trends and see how things go. That's why I said you goofed, (sorry for using that word though I understand it's harsh) cos you didn't do your due diligence on time. Trust me it will not take you one hour to skim through this thread swiftly and get tonnes of interesting information. But guess you didn't do that. In this thread we have warned that people should not leave their contact details open, as it exposes them to crooks. But like I said if you had done your due diligence on time before jumping in, you would have noticed this. Now you have labelled me as know it all, that's very funny and quite ridiculous cos we learn everyday and in all honesty I don't know it all, and I have learnt and still learning each passing day. Not all advice come in soft tones, an open rebuke they say is better than secret love, at least no be me talk this one, e dey for Bible. I have observed with time that people dislike open rebuke, anyway it's their choice anyway. In essence what am trying to tell you is whenever you come into a new place, take time to observe first before making any moves whatsoever. Once again thanks for your response. Wish you all the very best as you pursue your educational dreams. 7 Likes 1 Share |

X36DD: I have been following this thread right from part 4 and now this is part 6 and not once have I seen @justwise (the moderator of the group) say anything about bold letters, you might not like the bold letters but don't accuses me of being rude when there isn't any rule against writting in bold letters, I am not writing in capital letters or using LARGE fonts like 12pts, 20pts and so on. I see people here use bold formats every time, some even go as far as using very large fonts, the reason I made my words bold was when I replied to the user @Deustchemann who has been very helpful on this thread. Its funny that the users who have answered my questions haven't complained about how I choose to format my text, Like I said @Justwise hasn't made any rules about bold text, seun hasn't made any rules about it, back when @jarus was the mod of the politics board he didn't make any complaint or rules about bold text so saying my use of bold text is rude is simply misusing the word used. In a forum where everyone is free to ask questions people would rather spend time talking about fonts and trying to showcase their standards or intelligence and how brilliant they assume they ate instead of asking their own questions or helping someone else by answering their questions. 2 Likes |

The CBN has 6 different FX windows and each have different FX rate. Dangote as a business man will use a separate window from the one students will use. And banks borrowing from each other will also use a separate rate. The 6 windows are: 1. Interbank - banks borrowing from each other (in bulk o). And this is known as the CBN official rate - N349 2. NAFEX - (Nigerian Autonomous Foreign Exchange window) 3. NIFEX - (Nigerian Foreign Exchange window) 4. I & E window - (Investors and Exporters window) 5. SME window - (Small & Medium Scale Enterprise) 6 SMIS window - (Secondary market Intervention sales) and this is where Form A belongs. The rate at which the CBN sell to banks in the SMIS window is usually close to that of the parallel market. And according to CBN rules, they are not allowed to make more than a certain percentage on the funds, I have forgotten the actual rate but i think they can't mark up more than 200bps (2%) and because of the tight competition within the banks, they can't even maximize the whole 2% sef. So it's not as if the banks are ripping us off, it's the fact that in Nigeria we have multiple exchange rates. Often times, it is cheaper and easier to buy from the parallel market, and that's where i bought mine before coming. The only advantage of buying from the banks these days is the fact that you are guaranteed that it's not "fake money" and that you are buying from real source as some banks don't allow you invest the money if it's gotten from the "black market". I hope this helps. NB - I am not a staff of Zenith Bank NelsonOBN: 5 Likes 1 Share |

Chriswazo: Pokarika: Thanks guys, I would do as you guys have suggested, I am here just like the rest of you to ask questions and possibly have them answered so you could imagine how upset and disappointed I was when someone here suggested that my questions were funny, thereby implying that my question wasn't worth answering! how rude! the sheer arrogance and nerve on some of us here is absolutely astounding, anyway sha, lets discuss better things. |

Good morning beautiful people. I really appreciate the help I have been getting so far here. Thank you all Am at the process of funding my BA, I learnt that the safest mode of doing that is through bank but it might be costlier. I also observed that a FORM A is need for the transfer in the bank. My question is, how can one get the FORM A?. Secondly, what are the possible documents needed while funding d account? NB, I opened a finitiba account, and intend funding soon but i need possible information on how to do that to avoid mistakes.... Thank you |
