Does it mean she can choose that NOC since two of her job descriptions fit.

I thought at least 80 percent of job descriptions should fit the NOC to be valid.

Please expatiate sir.

Sadly, she can't pick that NOC because a considerable amount of duties listed in her JD should be present in that NOC.

For the first one, it depends on the actual duties she performed under "General Branch Administration".

Hubby will be 33 in July and i am 26. Do you think he should be the principal applicant since he has longer work experience. Thank you for the response

@TemiGee Why don't you start now. Hubby has HND and OND, he can get evaluated as two or more degrees with WES. He doesn't need the BCS. That will cost more money and will still be two or more degrees. He has 5 years experience, which makes him the best person as P.A. (I assume his age is not too advanced)

By this time next year. 470 may struggle to get ITA. Who knows. "There is no time to check time"

If you evaluate your BSc, write IELTS and get LRWS 8, 7, 7, 7; and he evaluates his ND/HND and max out IELTS with him as the PA, your CRS score will be 455. That can get you ITA.

You can claim point with your NYSC experience and you can also start Eca and start preparing for IETLS since you are close to 3years experience...

Betterstill, a lot of people here has use Nysc and they succeeded....

The thing is i have stopped working( worked as a customer service rep), so it isn't counting anymore. I served in 2012 in niger state, is it still feasible for me to use that as work experience even tho it is in a different field?

You only need to evaluate your MSC for now.
You'll have to liquidate your property and lodge the money into your account to use as POF.

Let me drop my 2 cent here about agents in this journey.....well there might be good ones though and there are some who will claim to help you at a very small price but will rip off you slowly and gently....the later is the category of the one I used

Around February before I got to know so much about nairaland, my bro in law introduced me to one of his friend who is an agent....he was initially planning canada with her till he change his mind for another country.....at first when my husband mentioned agent, i declined and said i will DIY.......I ASKED HIM what her payment plan is like then he said, she was going to collect max 100k after we get our PPR... Juicy and a woof deal abi ( nasso I grab am)......I had no idea why it takes to use agent neither did I know we won't have access to information. .....as at then I didn't know what it takes to get ITA, all I knew was evaluation and Ielts.......

So she told me we would use wes for evaluation. ....I do not live in lagos.....initially I thought I would evaluate just my msc...so she said she would do the registration for waec and wes.... I paid a total of 105,500 naira ,20k for waec and 85500 for wes ( equivalent of 220 plus 85 can dollar standard delivery ) because she insisted we use the express delivery. .....I didn't argue..... .I did all things necessary for waec wahala ( photocopy of wear result , affidavit for waec result....

Fast forward to March, i decide to use my leave period to see my folks in lagos and drop my documents for her to sort waec...I wanted to drop 2 passport but she said it's just one passport.....I was already getting familiar with nairaland so I told her I saw 2 passport, she said I should stop believing what I see on nairaland , that it's and ll fake..... went to u.I to sort msc transcript too.....only for her to tell me I had too also send my bsc, I told her there was no need but I didn't argue. ......my husband also paid her 85500 for his wes evaluation Nd she said he would also evaluate all his degrees ( Ond, bsc and Msc) ond from ibadan poly and others from lautech.....we all know how lautech can be with transcipr6.....

Then i wasn't getting comfortable with her using a different email for us because there was a day she said she can't remember the email she used to log in with our wes details, I should send her the email she uses to send any wes correspondence. ...I started having doubts and I told her going frward she should use our mail...she said no p

Around April, i decided to register for ielts myself because I noticed she send mail to us maybe after three or 4 days she recieves it,....I didn't want her to joke with my ielts...then my brother got PPR and he said he didn't use any agent.....naso my brain reset say. Because he abused me that as educated as me and my husband are, we dey use agent.....I tell oga say me I no do again,,,,but oga talk say make we collect wes report.....

Fast forward to june , I passed ielts , and my wes report was ready, and she also claimed my husband verification has been sent from all schools , so his report will be released by june ending latest..then i told her it's time to be in the pool because of tie breaking.....she talk say no, na till my husband wes report land, before we enter pool.......I was already boiling then she now did something teruble. .....she said oops she mis informed us about verification oh....that it hasn't been sent.....I ko give myself sense say she na like this she go dey use our life play.....she dey hold us to ransome....

I made up my mind that I was no longer interested in her services , she talk say make we pay 25k then she go release our information. ....I paid the following week , only for her to give us wrong email addy but she later corrected it,.....unfortunately for her, my husband wes report wasn't ready,....one evening I was just checking my husband account. ...I just noticed she paid 227canadian dollars.....Ewo 220 and 7 as against 85....a difference of 68 can dollar equivalent to 19800 each from us.....

Mog be. ...this one na confirm 419.....I called her severally and messaged....she blocked me and till date she hasn't responded....would I mentioned her name but I won't because she works with a travel agency but doing this as a side hustle......my people shine your eyes well......ask questions. ....agent will not do medicals for you, get reference letter or run around for pof.......by the way we are still waiting for verification .....I am sure we would get ITA before that verification is sent.....

Sorry for my long post....

Hi
You've been given awesome reply, it's the best option.

From the info you gave,
You being the PA.
You & hubby having IELTS 8777 in LRWS , CRS will be 456 smileyand with you having IELTS 8.5,8.0,7.5,7.5 in LRWS, CRS will be 468 smiley.

Your hubby being the PA
with the above IELTS, CRS will be 331.

So it's better you be the PA... Just prep well so as to ace your ielts.

Please simulate your CRS yourself using this

Good morning Topsmamen and other seniors
Thank you so much for all the great work you have been doing on this forum. God bless you immensely

Please I have a question. Can I claim sibling points for my sister who is a Canadian permanent resident residing in Quebec? I heard Quebec has its own EE process so I don't know if her being a resident of Quebec will make my sibling points claim untenable. Please kindly help clarify

Topsmamen:

Amen, thanks.

I see that the Quebec immigration stream states 3 points for having a sibling in Quebec. See this, this and this.

Thanks so much for your response Topsmamen. Sorry my initial question wasn't clear. I am applying for PR through the Federal skilled worker program express entry. I want to know if I can claim sibling points for my sister residing in Quebec. Does it matter that she resides in Quebec? I dont intend to live in Quebec. Thank you so much

For sure, you can. It does not matter that she resides in Quebec. The rule states that you can claim sibling points if you have a brother or sister living in Canada and is a citizen or permanent resident of Canada.

Oga you have a very good chance.
Let your wife sit for TEF and get CLB 5 at least and ace the IELTS to see your CRS fly to 485.
Your wife will also be the PA

Hi
Your wife should be the PA, it's even to your advantage as she studied French, as she would be the best person to write TEF (read about this on page 1) to give you guys additional points . TEF is good, if she doesn't have any other certificate aside Bsc but not compulsory o..

So you should study well for IELTS, and she should study well for both IELTS and TEF(if she wishes to)

What you need to show as POF should be be liquid and immediately accessible. That means if the land is your desired source of funds, you must liquidate it.

Thanks so much. What a relief!
Please, I'm really confused about this POF. I don't want to make mistakes, because the money is not there. I have to source for it from family and friends. I'm creating my profile in the express entry pool while waiting for my ECA from ICES which I sent 14 weeks ago. I believe it will soon be ready.
After that I intend to send EOI through SINP.
When precisely do I need the POF?
Thanks so much as I wait your response as I'm not using an agent rather DIY

CIC actually expressly states that you can't use equity in real property: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/express-entry/documents/proof-funds.html

You need something more liquid and readily accessible.
