as for solution,i will advice you to reach genius43 on whatsapp,send him a video of you powering up the phone ,so he can provide a solution or tell us about it here (the issue might not even be from the screen as you think),or better still send your phone to repairing to troubleshoot ,give feedback and fix it for you

Really so sorry you are experiencing this. It may be a particular batch from the company had factory faults. Other batches may not experience this.

Atleast you got it fixed in 2 weeks, this is over 2 weeks now and all they keep telling me is dat no spare part in Nigeria yet till further notice. And they blocked me. �‍♀️

Why does it sound absurd to you?

My last device was Xiaomi redmi note 3 & it serve 2 & half years without issues. The one before was LG G2, that did 2 years plus too. There's no much difference between 2.5 & 3 don't you think?

If you've have a functional device without faults why change it? Or you think I only came to buy smartphones in this life?

Guy, no stress yourself. Redmi 7 is also sweet but doesn't get much attention here. Just add N7,500 and pick up that baby(the 3gb/32gb) from Pointek or add 9K and get the RN7 on jumia during their anniversary week. You wont regret it. You may even prefer it than the Note 7 due to the following reasons: dual sim + memory card because i didnt want to have to use a hybrid sim adaptor, longer battery life due to the screen resolution, lack of glass back. This were some of the reasons that made me get the Redmi 7 instead of the RN7 and also having a budget of not more than 50K for a fone. It all boils down to preferences.
N.B i got 32gb Toshiba memory card from Pointek to add to my storage space.

I just collected mine too. Experience is awesome. My Redmi 6A just dey look.

I understand the reason behind the anger, they blocked you on top your hard earned 75k, but I guess they have reasons for blocking you (disturbing with same complaints on each and every posts on the page after you already discussed with them) ,even tho you re right,and its your money,you should understand and not put pressure on them by spamming their every post/inbox (similar to mustiboy issue) and you should and kept it with xiaomi Nigeria instead of posting complaints on another country's xiaomi page

People are calling you scam because:
1. there are many paid agents(of transsion) trying to find faults in other OEMS product
2. This being the biggest online ground for xiaomi users,many people have bought redmi note 7 from pointek,rays,jumia and many other Nigerian stores since they came to nigeria, and no have ever experience/reported this issue or something similar
3. Anybody can make this up(even with the screenshots,recording,receipt,and phone)
4. The way you constructed the post made it look like something made by a paid agent
..
as for solution,i will advice you to reach genius43,gptech, acekid or grandmufti on whatsapp,send him a video of you powering up the phone ,so he can provide a solution or tell us about it here (the issue might not even be from the screen as you think,maybe its the connection of the screen that got detached from the motherboard due to vibrations or shock(tension)),or better still send your phone to repairng to troubleshoot ,give feedback and fix it for you

1) Even if it is a paid agent why can't we ask for proof before calling her a scam and paid agent. Shey cos me too no talk because I choose to go with the word patient.

2) I have bought 8 from those Pointek, Raya and Volt stores and 1 of the two that I bought from pointek for me and my wife is faulty and it is RN7 with touch malfunctioning.


3) What else do u need to prove it is not made up

Do you know what it will take to jump to such a conclusion that the brand is a scam, even with such a large community of real users here who are willing to help one another.
