pete26: Normally, if you applied for a Research based MSc, admission offers usually comes with partial or full funding from the school or from your supervisor. Like me, I was offered full funding of $16,850 per year from MUN and my tuition fees is just $4833 per year. Which means I still have $12,000 for living expenses. I hope this help @pete26 3 Likes |

oluwatosin47: After you download the app, register, then after you register you will click on new payment, then follow the instructions, search for Conestoga college on the list of schools, then after necessary detail has been put then the equivalent of the amount you are going to pay in naira will be shown, then put ur card details. You will be debited and you ur receipt will be sent to you once the money is delivered to the school. That’s all |

I need advise from complex applicants / anyone with similar experience as this applicant is mid degree and changing programs. The SOP is in the 7 page range. This content is Intro, reason for program, why Canadian school as opposed to Nigerian options, job opportunities in Nigeria and opportunities for growth and expansion in Nigeria and economic home ties to Nigeria. Is this too much ? |

For people with multiple refusals — upwards of two, in successive applications how did you structure your LOE ? The current template I’m following is to address the most current refusal, and then explain how I have addressed previous refusals. Is this necessary or should I only address the current refusal if previous refusal reasons were not mentioned in the latest GCMS note and refusal letter ? |

For applicants in STEM fields, how much emphasis in page length / paragraph did you place on career opportunities in Nigeria / Reason to come back after completion of education ? Also I would really appreciate it if anyone in CS/EE/CompE would be able to review this section of the SOP. A lot of the Gurus are busy so I would also appreciate if anyone who has been fortunate to receive help from them / anyone who just enjoys writing is reviewing SOPs. You can get hold of me by sending me a PM |

Hello. I am looking to apply for an undergraduate degree in Canada. I am 26, finished my secondary school in 2009. I got into university in the republic of bene in 2013. I dropped out in 2016 as my parents were not convinced with the quality of education. I have been working on and off since 2016 and now finally ready to go back to school. My parents will be sponsoring me. I want to know what my chances are and the best route to go when writing a statement of purpose and letter od explanation. I will appreciate helpful comments. Thank you |

eightyeight: A diploma program will be your best route. Or better still request for your academic transcript in liue of getting course waivers for a bsc program. However, with the recent trend of refusals there needs to be a clear study plan in order to convince a visa officer. |

95seun:Bro, be careful of extremely vague study plans. I understand you need to clarify your points however, most VOs don't subscribe to it. |

MsJu: Paris wow! That's a first for me. Hopefully they are lenient with their decision. There was a time study visas were processed in Ghana due to the ease of study vias approvals it was moved down to Kenya. Also the fact that your application is been processed in Paris also signifies the volume of applications Nairobi is dealing with. I wish you all the best. |

Interesting. CIC keeps dropping new epistles. Last week I found out of Egypt office. Today its Paris. These guys are really making a fortune from immigration and expanding the more. I hope they will be more calm in processing apps with the new office reducing the pressure on the existing offices. MsJu: |

If you are 34years or below, you can still scale Express Entry easily. I've just done a simulation of your likely points. If you're able to score 8777 in IELTS, your minimum points will be 451 which is more than enough to get you an invitation to apply for EE. This score can still be higher if you're below 34yrs and do better than 8777 in the exam. Stell12: 2 Likes |
