They won't give her a new phone. Something like this happen to my boss Samsung phone which she took to their service center, since April till date she has not gotten her phone back. The excuse is that they had to ship her phone back and it has not arrive Nigeria . Trust women naa, she abuse and do all sort So they can give her another phone but NAY they did not. And cos she love sammy she bought another one . The most painful thing is she bought the New and with warranty.

Yes, you will lose your warranty if someone else opens the phone. The main problem is we don't know how soon the replacement parts will arrive, if Raya can tell exactly when the parts are coming in, you will be able to make an informed decision. It is a difficult decision to make.

That's how warranty works, if you can have the patience to wait for it to be fixed, please do. That's what happened to my sister's Nokia, we repaired it outside when Nokia billed us 20K to replace a 5" display on her Nokia 2. The phone was 2 months old then. When the battery now had issues 4 months later we were asked to pay for the battery since it had been repaired outside before.
