Some people will still argue this, there are fantastic mtk chipsets, the only detraction is that most of them don't support massive developmental support

well, i change my devices yearly. Sometimes twice. I currently use the Nokia X5 and an MI 9. Believe me when i say mediatek is just overly underrated. My gf uses a redmi 7 and i must confess, my nokia X5 handles everything thrown at it far better than the redmi 7 rocking SD632.

Secondly, i know so many Snapdragon devices that my so called mtk Nokia x5 got android pie update before they received.

It boils down to the oems providing support to their devices, weather mtk or SD

The P60 is higher than Snapdragon 632. Haba

Please I'm trying to install GOOGLE FRAME WORKS in my Redmi 7, but it keeps saying 'There Was A Problem While Parsing The Package'

1. I want to change my Font... Someone said i have to install GOOGLE FRAME WORKS before i can change the font.

2. Also, is there anyway i can transfer Documents from 'Space 1 to Space 2'?

1. It is not true, Xiaomi don't support third party font. You can pick a font from the theme app by searching for any of these Aafont, free or Moby fonts. Choose, download and apply.

Google framework is supposed to update itself.

'There Was A Problem While Parsing The Package' simply means it does not support your android version. Always occur when installing some apps solely built for lower android versions on a higher one.

2. See this

Is your device in a pouch? The plug is probably not sitting in well enough

Why not order from AE? Even jumia should have it
It is not about the price that puts one off buying from all these small products from Jumia, it is the delivery charge. You buy something of about 1k, you pay 600 for delivery, e worth am?

That's how it is o, my location is permanently set on N3050. So if it is not something big, I rather look at AliExpress. Even if I pay for shipping it is usually not more than 1k.

I ain't doubting you but I do know MTK powered phones are not future proof enough. I ain't hating on them coz my old note 3 was MTK version.

Support goes beyond OEMs, there's app developers & mods support to contend with too.

Am sure you've seen peeps here making fun of a certain device with PES players "flying". That's an example of a device lacking app dev support despite it being on updated Android version.

As more apps get updated, gradually you'll see more & more incompatible apps as time goes by because even the app devs are more focused on SD devices and probably use those for testing too.

I hope you get my drift now? Cheers

Thanks for this sir, learning always here.

Ordered the redmi note 7 for a neighbour on Sunday and got it on Tuesday. I never believed dt the phone was damn amazing like dt. I fell in love with it than my note 5 AI sef.
You cannot get any images online that truly describes the beauty of the phone. The phone turns head wherever it goes. Excellent camera crisp display, superb battery life, it just ticks all the right buttons. I am surprised how a whole lot of people out there don't know xiaomi phones. A whole lot of people don't even know what is Redmi. I am tired of explaining, I just tell them RN7.
