My Predicted Lineup

Chukwueze will operate as No. 8, specifically behind the Striker, while Iwobi will operate as No. 10.

No kidding?

Just two midfielders? How do u expect Mikel to control the midfield on his own?
With this ur lineup we will be overrun in midfield..
Chukwueze functions best on the RW..no need for the SS role...

What's so good about that news.

The Belguim league is not a top league and you really have to be in the top 5 best to really get noticed by the big club and or leagues.

KC going to Belguim is not good news it really means he is not good enough for the EPL and he is failing bafly. And really he should be able to get a Championship club. But l don't think any progressive Championship club will look at him.

The guy made sense by saying that some of us were over rating our team, but he was wrong to have compared Tau to Obi and Iwobi. Tau, to me, should be competing with the likes of Michael Babatunde and Kingsley Sokari grin
Bad man Chriskels!! Loll! @Sokari and Babatunde.
Nobody is over rating our team.
In the context of this Nation's cup no team has performed spectacularly.
For me no team has truely outstanding players that are better than our players.

Chei how the mighty have fallen,i see people saying we overating our team by predicting a semifinal berth, SMH. let me remind you all that we made semis of all AFCON played from 2000-2010 except 2008 so saying we'll make semifinal isn't overrating our boys, it's supposed to be the minimum sef.

Super Eagles Penultimate Workout: Osimhen Pushing For Starting Spot After Another Brilliant Goal, Extra Training For Aina

The Super Eagles held their penultimate training session at the Arab Academy of Science, Technology and Maritime Transport on Friday, allnigeriasoccer.com reports.
Chelsea Academy product Ola Aina was the last player to leave the pitch as he was doing some kick around before going to join the players in the bus.

The versatile fullback could make his third consecutive appearance of the tournament on Sunday with doubts surrounding the fitness of Abdullahi Shehu and Jamilu Collins.

Having said that, Collins wore football boots in the training session which gives everyone hope that Rohr's prediction may come to pass, with the German earlier stating that the Paderborn left-back is set to make a return from injury vs Madagascar.

Although Shehu had an ice pack strapped to his lap during the workout, Rohr is hoping the Bursaspor defender will be available for the later stages of the Africa Cup of Nations.

Victor Osimhen is pushing for a starting spot against the Barea as he scored another goal in the practice session, a brilliant header that beat goalkeeper Daniel Akpeyi at his far post.

The Sporting Charleroi star has proved a handful to opposing defenders in the last two workouts.

Playing as an outfielder, Francis Uzoho has got some good football skills in his locker which is not surprising as he started his career as a striker.

Yesterday, Gernot Rohr and Leon Balogun celebrated their birthday and the Super Eagles players can give a belated birthday present to the coach by beating Madagascar.

Their main tactics session will be held on Saturday and only 15 minutes is open to the fans and media.

Afcon Talk- The Future of Super Eagles No.9 Shirt

Morocco's starting no.9 is a 21-22 years old Youssef En-Nesyri of Leganes CF in La Liga yet they have a vastly experienced Khalid Boutaib on the bench.

I feel in time same will happen for Nigeria. In Osimhen, I strongly believe we have a true heir to Yekini's throne. His youth should not be despised. The lad is ready to lead the line. His scoring stats and wicked improvements over the past months show it. He dropped down to the U-23 and singled handedly turned the Libya tie in our favor showing his talents are really too much for the U-23 level which of course is a good thing. He is a born scorer, a ready made warrior upfront and he is fearless and above all, very Clinical.

Osimhen's time is near. It is his era now. Ighalo should be ready to make way at the latest after this Afcon. Ighalo is experienced and suited to African Jam body football... Yes, I agree. But Osimhen also knows how to go rough and physical while also applying intelligent Clinicality in front of goal. Despise not the Precocious.

Note: My personal wish is for Nigeria to win it and Ighalo to be top scorer continuing his top scorer form from the Qualifiers but I know Osimhen is his upgrade for both now and in the long run.

U were here when I was raving about him this past season, they(Icon4s especially) said I was over rating Morocco. I have been following the boy because of Omeruo. Did u see his record breaking hattrick in the laliga? I tell u bro, En Nesryi is good. Both foot are working and he is a very big threat in the air, his positioning is KPOM also
