JustMellow: Thank you for your reply. i have already ordered my gcms note but due to time constraints i have to reapply without reading it. For my sponsors funds i attached his bank statements to the proof of funds section along with his letter of sponsorship. For the properties and home ties i wrote a statemnt of purpose covering all the issues and i attached the valuation documents of the properties. |

Just like I stated boss. My career has been in Logistics which involves moving products across the country using heavy duty trucks. I manage these trucks. I wanted to get more knowledge on truck repairs and management which is why I applied for a certificate program at NBCC to study Truck and Transport Service Technician. Note that I have OND and HND in Electrical and Electronics Engineering even though I never worked in that career path. In-fact my company advised me to go for that training on truck maintenance and repair with actual hands on experience as they will be expanding by importing more trucks even though they are not sponsoring the program for me. For my home ties, I used my parents who are both alive and working, my brother and my sister, my land with the land agreement, my present company study leave letter saying that I will resume back to my position upon return, My CAC docs of two personal companies. My Pension fund with 2million closing balance and my affidavit of return. I also stated the I will co-own a logistics company with my sponsor upon my return where I will manage fleets and trucks for companies and individuals as well as train truck mechanics. JustMellow: |

judisco2019: My two cents You mentioned CAC documents for two personal companies you own. What is the purpose of those companies with respect to your intended course of study, You might think you are including them as home-tie, but if they are not in line with electrical engineering/Logistics, it might be another reason why the VO flagged purpose of visit. So lets us know what your two personal companies are all about. For applicants who desire to use PGD or PGC to change career path, always look out for short seminars/trainings in that area and attend. Those activities speak for you when the VO begins to process your application. Secondly, if your parents have properties, get a letter from your dad addressed to the embassy. The letter should state that you have been managing those properties on their behalf. That's a responsibility that serves as a strong home tie. Warm wishes 5 Likes |

davisonlove:It is already late to think of September admission. Your best chance is tp prepare for January. You are a mature applicant and will need to have your study gaps accounted for. Also applying for a program that shows progression from your last study program is vital. You can conduct your personal research regarding application processes, admission etc on this platform. 1 Like |

JOCng: In your next application, do well to include property document(s) and explain its purpose from an economical viewpoint. If possible, get your sponsor to commitment to the sponsorship promise, at least transfer your 1yr LS to you and pay your 1st semester tuition fees. Also, do well to include your personal BS. Good luck! 1 Like 1 Share |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 16 by JustMellow: 5:31pm On Jun 29, 2019 |
akins56: It makes more sense including your BS. You can get your dad to transfer your LE into it. I believe you're a matured applicant irrespective of when you graduated. Even at that, there's more benefit showing it than omitting it. Good luck! |

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 16 by JustMellow: 5:51pm On Jun 29, 2019 |
judisco2019: I don't see an affidavit of return as home ties. Well, you can build your home ties from your two companies and current employnent (economic), your parents (social), and land (socio-economic). Then, the intentions to co-own a logistic company is another good tie. In all, the problem here is how you would be able to provide the right or relevant documents to back your claims convincingly and constructive you would be in underpinning these ideas to convince and satisfy the VO of your level of establishment in Nigeria. Mind you, in most cases or times, the VO wants to see ties that isn't your parents or siblings. So, before just settling with comfort to use your parents or siblings as principal home ties, endeavour to as well have other ties from an economic or social viewpoints. Good luck! |
