It's either God did miracle or he worked his way through. 207 in JAMB and 312 in POST UTME, that is 519÷2= 258. And that year, Abu Zaria admission cut off for catchment area was 250. I don't know why people find it difficult to believe. |
Re: The medical students and aspirants thread by Tatarison(m): 12:49pm On Jun 29, 2019 |
Last year a guy had 320 in JAMB and 258 or so in POST UTME. Now, that is 289 aggregate, he wasn't from catchment, he didn't get MBBS. Another lady had 299 in JAMB and 303 in POST UTME with an aggregate of 301. Now, the lady wasn't from catchment as well, from Edo state precisely and she got in... MBBS. . Abu doesn't give a sh*t what you got in JAMB, if you can't defend the score with a higher mark in post UTME, they don't know you |

I'm from Benue state and I scored 310 in the just concluded JAMB UTME exams with Maths B3 Eng B3 Chem C4 Bio C6 Phy C5 I actually applied UniMaid but now im thinking of switching to UNN Should I change and please why? And if I should change What are my chances and what score should I target in the post utme

EdOgah:
Its well sir Again thanks Those candidates were probably not admitted because last year a lot of people passed, 4000+ candidates got 300+ too compared to this years 2906 so.... Anyways I'll try to research the school (UI) as soon as possible And come to conclusion soon before their post utme starts But UNN is a good school and it's closer to Benue that's why I was considering it I also think its better than UniMaid and their med graduates have a special preference... Lol.. UNN is highly competitive. I'm not saying u might not get it. But the probability is low except u score very high in their post utme. Nothing like preference after medical school. |

raje914: Pls medics, do any one knows about kogi state both the state university and the federal university if they are offering medicine.. I scored 292 in my previous jamb but I was given soil science to study... I went to lodge complain to the provost of the college and he told me outright that its mainly for indigine of the state (Bauchi)... I really want to this course but I'm considering going to my state (kogi) if medicine is now for only the indigine of the state.... I might also be considered in my state Kogi State University doesn't have an accredited medical school. And again. The federal university in kogi state hasn't commenced medical program. I advise you try out other accreditated college of medicine in other federal universities. |

In a bid not to be unnecessarily superfluous, here's what I feel: You don't want to even attempt what you're thinking out loud apparently. It's better in your head, where for your good, I advise it remains. This is funny. Just negodu Ps: This isn't an attempt to discourage you. Obviously, you don't know what this entails. Being under a lecture of Anatomy and the lecturer flips through 50 slides in 30 mins or less and this guy has about 150 more to go. Talk less about having to crash read for a Physiology test whose format is German and True/False. For which every wrong answer results in - 1 not 0. 2 Likes |

I got in with some Score. My candid advice for you is to leave it at Unimaid. It's a totally safe place to study. . Please what is the required jamb score for BDS in unimaid, for a non indigene. For last year. |
