This is a thread on Atlantic immigration pilot program. It's for those that have low crs and no more means of boosting it. With the current crs cut off, one has to look for other options.

So as we go along I will explain how this program works. I'm also considering this program as I have low crs and pof

PS: I'm not an immigration lawyer or agent, I have read through this scheme and know how it works. So please let's help ourselves through this process. Thanks

This pilot helps employers in Atlantic Canada hire foreign skilled workers who want to immigrate to Atlantic Canada and also for international graduates who want to stay in Atlantic Canada after they graduate.

This four province are New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Newfoundland and Labrador and Prince Edward island .

Firstly, job offer is required from any of this province, but the good thing is LMIA is not needed but the job will have to be endorsed by the province through your employer. However, employers will have to be registered under this program to be eligible. Which is called designated employer.

This program has three scheme under it but 2 is for foreign skilled worker, while the other is for international graduates. Below is the schemes and requirements:

1. Atlantic high skilled program: this program requires
a) have work in a management, professional or technical/skilled job for at least a year in the last 3 years (NOC O, A or B)
b) have ECA
c) ielts clb 4 or TEF clb 4
d) pof
e) job offer must be full time at least 30hrs per week

2. Atlantic intermediate skilled program requires:
a) must have worked in a job that requires high school education or/and job specific training for at least a year in the last 3 years.
( NOC level C) or NOC A & B in 3012 or 3233 with job offer in NOC C in 3413 or 4412.
b) have ECA
c) ielts clb 4 or tef clb 4
d) pof

Although this program has its tough part (job offer), it also has it's benefits. Which I will list below:
1. IELTS band is low, clb 4 is required which is LRWS: 4.5, 3.5, 4.0, 4.0
2. POF is low;
Family of 1 = $3167
Family of 2 = $3943
Family of 3 = $4847
Family of 4 = $5885
Family of 5 = $6675
Family of 6 = $7528
Family of 7 or more = $8381
3. You don't need to be in the pool or have crs, once your job offer has been endorsed and have register for a settlement program, gather all the necessary documents needed for ircc and submit through paper route. Moreso, you will pay for biometrics , rprf and application fee.

I will advise you have your ECA and ielts ready before you apply for jobs, so that once you have a job and its endorsed, nothing 'll keep you from applying to ircc. Inspite of all these, you can apply for a work permit once you get your endorsed job while ircc processes your application.

I'm considering nova Scotia, my ECA is still in process. Let's contribute to this, how many of u 're interested in this program and how far have you gone?

I will post list of designated employer for each province, note that most jobs are not advertised, you will have to go to their sites and check their career page. Also, when applying for jobs, always include a cover letter and state your intent in it I.e if they can sponsor you through AIPP. Apply for as many jobs as you can, but it should be in your field or what you do.

Yes it's difficult but not impossible, there 're people who have gotten job offers while in Nigeria. First is to have the list of designated employer and go through their site and check for jobs, then apply to the ones that fit you. We 'll all help each other go through this

But below are my questions:
*Is there age limit for this program?
*Are we getting our PR through this process? If no, what do we need to do?

1. no age limit
2. yes, After you get a job offer from a designated employer, you need to get a settlement plan. A settlement plan will help you and your family adjust to your new home in Atlantic Canada. It will provide you with useful resources and contacts to help you feel welcome in your new community. These plans are free, Once you have your settlement plan, give a copy to your employer and keep a copy for yourself. If you’re not in Canada, bring the plan with you when you move to Canada.
Get your Certificate of Endorsement
After you have your settlement plan, the province must endorse your job offer. Your employer will handle this process. Don’t submit your permanent residence application until you confirm with the employer that your offer has been endorsed.
If the province endorses your job offer, you’ll get a Certificate of Endorsement in the mail. Include your endorsement certificate with your permanent residence application along with other document needed for your PR application to ircc via paper route, like eca, pof, passports, ielts, medical, pcc etc including this endorsement certificate.

Good job

Guys need to take advantage Atlantic immigration pilot program

Make good use of Virtual job fairs where u meet several employers online and they interview u in their virtual job fair.

Not many people are aware of virtual job fairs.

Atlantic immigration pilot program process is much faster and easier than Express entry that Nigerians are stressing themselves over.

With Atlantic immigration pilot program, the process is just 3 months, but if other technicalities become involved, it will take around 6 months.

Take advantage of virtual job fairs, and when u get a job offer and provincial endorsement, u are 100% certain of landing in Canada in less than 6 months.
The CLB band score requirement for AIPP Is just CLB band 4, if ur IELTS score is very poor for Express entry take advantage of AIPP and the newly introduced Rural and Northern immigrant pilot program.

Rural and Northern immigration pilot program (RNIPP) is similar to Atlantic immigration pilot program.

Rural and Northern immigration pilot program will officially start in fall 2019 which is likely September/October this year, it has the same requirements with Atlantic Immigration pilot programs.

Atlantic immigration pilot pilot program and Rural and Northern immigration pilot program will be the most sought after Canadian immigration programs in the next few months, it's better gu[/b]ys take advantage of these programs now, before they make their requirements very strict , when Applications now increase against the expected target.

The good thing about AIPP is ur Proof of Fund required is just $3167 Canadian dollars which is less than 870,00 Naira.

Ur IELTS score required for AIPP is a minimum of Listening 4.5 Reading 3.5 Writing 4.0 Speaking 4.0

Most people score more than the above minimum score in IELTS

The AIPP program is the best, easiest and fastest Canadian immigration program right now, but not many are taking advantage of it.

Which ECA provider are u planning to use WES or ICES
I planning to send my transcript from my university to ICES tomorrow, but I am scared of ICES delay in evaluation.
WES with their too much requirements made me opt for ICES

Are there specific NOCs in demand for ainp? Also is it possible to move away from the Atlantic provinces after some time on the job? My ECA and ielts will be ready in two weeks and I am really interested in this option as the pof I need for my family size for regular EE is no where near ready. Will I still need the proof of employment reference letter in cic format or is my resume and cover letter enough?
