No need for savior #3 until possibly the KO rounds. We have qualified already. The third game is to see the team grow rven stronger into the tournament as we warm up for the killer rounds of Knockout football.

I think it's time Musa retires from the national team he doesn't have the technical ability to break down defences

And when he's not afforded space to run he doesn't contribute much

I have said this on so many occasions. Dude can run and shoot but that's about it. Musa is not made for a team that play passes. Musa , Ighalo , Ogu, Mikel time is up!

Can Chukwueze play LWB?

3-5-2 doesn't accommodate normal wingplay

No, we can play 4-4-3 and accommodate the boy in the system that fits him

If Rohr has any sense,he will move Collins to left back and Aina to right back..

I appreciate what Awazeim has done at RB so far but it's time we stop this habit of using players in unfamiliar positions... That was how rohr overused Shehu at RB until we got tired of him...

that what he'll do in our next .... we'll see a different team by God's grace on July 6 let just calm down and be optimistic about this dude he'll come up with something great

I thought you guys said Morrocco will wallop SA.
This same SA team had to rely on the referee to get a draw against us at their home.
So what are you trying to say?

Wanbisaka was bought for 50 million, Zaha should be 80-90 million

I would expect that Zaha's valuation should be higher than Wan Bissaka's. However on BBC right now, the valuation I saw is 80 million not 90 million. But then the 40 million is just the first offer which means Arsenal will add more as negotiations continue but maybe not up to 80 million.

First offer is normally nearer to the player's value

But I believe that's all Arsenal have grin

Going forward after d tournament, whether we triumph or not,I believe its high time we allowed Mikel move on,so we can concentrate on dt PLAYMAKER/AM ROLE SOLN once and for all,his stay in our team, seems not to allow dt area to b well worked on,ogu will definitely won't b considered again, whether rohr stays or not

For musa...well dts a 50/50 chance,

I would av loved ighalo to b eased out of d national team too, provided nacho up his game and rediscover his mojo back,we can't rely only on untested osimhen and a flop nacho as d solution to our number 9 position

If not ighalo might still b called upon if things doesn't change...d likes of (odey, awoniyi, ajayi and co), to me are not better options smiley

Is that? Thanks for the education.

However, can you explain why Wan Bissakas first bid was 25 million? Half of the final deal.

Morocco in the group stage have played liked Nigeria.. Can we call that championship stuff. They always grind out that one nil win.

Again in the 90th minute against South Africa.
The only difference here in comparison with Nigeria is that they are a much more attacking side unlike Nigeria.

80 - 90 million based on what?? Palace can keep him then. No club in their right mind will pay that amount for him.
I'm hearing Arsenal may go back with 55m plus a player.

Zaha is in arguably the best winger in EPL possibly Europe

90 million is not too much for him, Dembele was bought for 120 million

Now u are talking, if you value the player they add, then one us getting close to the Crystal Palace valuation.
Which player will that be? I don't expect any if the younger players in my opinion. We will see how it all unfolds.

Richalison scored 3 goals last 2 seasons Everton bought him for 50 million

If Zaha was Brazilian, Real Madrid would have tabled 100 million for him

Nigerians want Rohr, Eagles’ bonuses slashed

Sodiq Oyeleke

Nigerians have called on the Nigeria Football Federation to slash the bonuses and allowances of Super Eagles players and coaching crew.

They wondered why the players, who recently staged a protest over unpaid bonuses in Egypt, ended up playing below expectations after being paid.

The fans complaints came after Nigeria lost Nigeria lost 2-0 to Madagascar at the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations on Sunday

Nigerians have called on the Nigeria Football Federation to slash the bonuses and allowances of Super Eagles players and coaching crew.

They wondered why the players, who recently staged a protest over unpaid bonuses in Egypt, ended up playing below expectations after being paid.

The fans complaints came after Nigeria lost Nigeria lost 2-0 to Madagascar at the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations on Sunday.

Lamenting Nigeria’s loss to the lowly-rated Madagascar, a fan Kingsley Ogar said, “The salary of Rohr should be slashed.”

Some fans argued that Eagles have lost their right to protest againstunpaid bonuses with the poor performance against Madagascar.

Ife Dayo said, “At least there won’t be any protest for win bonuses from the Super Eagles.”

“The Super Eagles strike better during bonus protests than in a football game,” Ivan Dougan added.

Demi Khay said, “The Super Eagles players boycotted the press conference before their second game against Guinea because of money, leaving only the coach to attend. Very unpatriotic; aside their allowance they got win bonus. Now playing this?”

Some commentators on social media also asked the NFF to sack Rohr, wondering why John Mikeland Ahmed Musa haven’t retired.

Gilles Grimandi said, “Retire Rohr with Mikel after the tournament. He cannot take us forward. Mikel should’ve been eased out after the World Cup. We have hungry players ready to make their mark, but this guy sucks the enjoyment from watching Nigeria.”

Rohr’s refusal to punish the underperformance of some continues to undermine him. Ahmed Musa has had a poor tournament, but continues to be first pick when available,” Solace Chukwu added.

Morocco winning all their 3 games by 1 nill ,in 2 of the games they scored 90 minutes

You guys where insulting Ivory Coast for loosing against Morocco as if Morocco is a small team not knowing a small team will beat us

We never knew Madagascar would beat us

Anyway I hope South Africa will not make it among the best 3rd place teams
