Yes. I have seen a case like that. It was even done at night. The thief stole the cables and everyone heard the noise of high voltage cables sparking. Thought “our transformer don blow”. In the morning we saw that the cables were gone.

So, yes, I believe he would attempt it. Cos a thief is a thief.

Them no beat am well self his colleagues in my area have put us in darkness since Feb 14th of this year till now. All the mails written to nerc and that useless EEDC has not been responded to. Imagine the inconvenience running gen since then.
