My advice is just be calm, very friendly people.
PS: there are over 25 panels and you cant rely on my own case, but one thing is certain, make sure you can defend every working experience and achievements on your cv, if not delete them before its late.

Change that mindset and you will realise there are so many opportunities out there. My friends are working in places you can't even imagine.

World bank. UN. Total. ExxonMobil. Microsoft. Google. Nestle. What else? We all don't know anyone. We dont even want to know.

Since we finished school years ago, and realize we don't have big uncles, we don't have any option but to work hard, and work smart. The results are glaring.

Go for the interview. Put in your best. Convince yourself you will get the job. You are competent, bold and daring. And pray.

When you finish the interview, remove your mind from it and focus on other things.

If they call.you for the job, good for NNPC. If they don't call you, their loss. They just lost a gem.

We shouldn't over flog this issues... las las we will all get paid something... after a few years if you don't like the pay, you can port to another company paying more...

just got another legit info for shell.. Didn't even know someone that close to me was working there. Knew he was in O&G but not shell. Now to shock you, shell total pay including every upfront is a bit less than 850k you mentioned earlier.

My guess is the quota system. I am of the opinion that regions and states were used in the invitation for oral interview. I might be very wrong though

For those that have done their interview is your number like this GT/S03B/P55/....... They said the P55 is the panel that will interview you is that true?

Done with mine. I didn't really start on a good note but I ended well even one of the panelist commended one of my response. But anyways am grateful to God for this opportunity and still hopeful.
One thing is true though , the interviewers are very friendly.

The head of my panel would even go as far as using the correct words QED sentence for each response I give. Finally, God take over matter

In imo state.. 100 candidates scored 80 and above in the test. It means those that scored from 60-80 were not invited.

In zamfara state.. The top 100 scored 35-50.


This sums it up. Someone with a high score of 79 in imo state wasn't invited but someone who acted 36 in zamfara state was invited.


Quota system.


The goal of this system is every state must be represented.

So if your state is highly competitive.. You will need extremely high scores to be invited.


The same thing plays out in the common entrance exams. Cut offs for states like delta, anambra, Imo, ondo is above 400.

Less educationally disadvantaged states with few candidates have cut offs of 80. Simply because just 50 people wrote the exams compared to delta with 25,000 candidates.

brother/sister, I understand all of this.. I'm comparing with the information I alresdy have and realize it doesn't make sense. But I don't know a lot.. So no need to assume anything. Let things just play out as it should
