Yea we have always been brothers. Forget the madness in the thread. Virtually all Kenyan tribes/communities are monotheists. Each with their own creation myth. I think most African tribes have always been monotheists. Only non-indegenous people like the Indians practise polytheism as far as I know. The most prominent monotheistic gods are Mungu of the Swahili, Ngai of the Kikuyu, Enkai of the Maasai and Nyasaye of the Luhya people. Obviously with the advent of Christianity/Islam the same names now refer to the Abrahamic Gods/ Yahweh/ Allah. I am not aware of any symbols.
