That is exactly why i said would happen if lionheart becomes lucrative under netflix.
It would spur them to adopt more Nigerian movies and bring more foreign revenues.

But some yoruba stark illiterates started hating on the poor lady.

I am sure they would hail this one now as the best thing ever.

I believed the hardship wasn't caused by the idol that they stole. It's was just coincidence.

But you are already making noise about it.
Look at the first page.
You are already shedding tears and you say you are not crying.

I wonder what would have happened if it was the first Nigerian movie adopted by netflix.

The opposite of what you believe in...

How are you sure about what I believe in to know it's opposite of yours?

The Figurine movie ends with that question. It is deep, through out the plot there are traces of supernatural interventions but everything that happens can be explained naturally and scientifically.

The very fact that those figurines always reappear after Oboli consistently discard them could be explained by a superstitious person that the myth of the idol never departing is real but a more scientific audience would explain the sequence of events that result in the return of the figurine to its position in Afolayan's cupboard as influenced by a human being and completely a function of the world of form ,our physical world - the acts of the domestic servant.

Ramsey Noah's murder can also be explained as the fulfilment of the prophecy by a traditional fan and jealousy or lust by a philosopher. That movie is a chain of explanation of causes and effects, so he ends the movie with that question, "what do you believe in? "

Everyone therefore has his own perspective after watching the movie though they digest the same story. That is the flavour that piece of art creates which makes it distinctive from what the Nigerian creative industry feed us regularly.

That’s not true in fact Kunle acted an acclaimed classic in the 1990s. He has been acting from a young age morphed into a director cum producer . And his dad is a movie pioneer from the theatre days also.respect to Genevieve but I will will say they are peers to be fair but fame wise Genevieve is more famed.

That's so wrong. As much as i respect Genny's persona n craft, Lion heart does not necessarily have depth, just a normal everyday story. But check out figurine or October 1, U'd see mind-engaging, suspense-filled plots at play. No ethnic bias, just stating the obvious. Cheers.

Genevieve and Kunle are on a different level....Genevieve is an actress while Kunle is a filmmaker.
