A whole Boeing? $100m?

Too little a compensation tbvh!!!

The families should reject it!! The fact that the offered to pay $100m without stress means they’re trying to hide something.

The families should squeeze all they can out of them undecided

the money they are offering is not the settlement, it is ADDED to what will be paid by the insurance...

That compensation is too small for two crashes.

Let us see what the insurance will come up with first.

Bro 100m isn’t that small

Though life lost can’t be reversed back with money

But 100m trump is a lot of money for the two families

How much did Dana airline compensated any of her victims here or sosoliso

The issue is that Nigeria is a backward country.

Re: Boeing Gives $100m To Help 737 Max Crash Families by kayjay69(m): 6:25am On Jul 04, 2019
Sure. But the families should press on with the lawsuits and reject any form of further compensation really. If they really do care and want to prevent a repeat of this, they should insist on pressing criminal charges that will land those who are found guilty in jail.

But then, I know I am just talking to myself in this regard.
MrBrownJay1:
Added with the money the insurance will pay the families, it's a small token, but worthy.... I guess they wanna keep a positive image of their brand who is crashing miserably (when it comes to the 737 max issues)

they are not serious... 100,000,000/346 is not even up to 50k USD. This is rubbish

Each family get above a 100 million naira each and you say it's small? Google how much Dana paid the victim of the crash. Less than 5million.

Don't forget that some African slaves (they know themselves) on NL absolved Boeing and blamed the pilots even before the facts were laid bare. SMH.

Lol. It reminds of a case where the wife was taunting the husband, a police officer who was on duty other officers but fortunately or unfortunately, armed robbers killed two of them and the families of the deceased were duly compensated. The wife to this other one who escaped kept taunting him that he should've also died alongside and today, she would have become a beneficiary of the jumbo compensation.

Since you know you can't value inhuman life then you need to look beyond the amount and stop quantifying it. It was not paid to replace the lost life.

The Lockerbie bombing had lesser casualties and the victims were paid $2.7billion.that is 2600% more than what Boeing is offering, they need to appear in court since they apparently think this is a joke.

so u wanted them to pay $500m?. come to think of it, if it was a Nigeria producing plane do u think they will even drop up to $50m.
.the money is just a paper, the dead are dead and notin can change. Boeing shud only step up with thier means of building this dam plane

dont mix apples with oranges.... lockerbie was a terrorist attack, and that's what the TERRORIST (aka Libyan government) had to pay to settle the criminal case, and have the 2 culprits never face a day in US jail. the plane manufacturer didnt pay JACK SHIIIIT, only the insurance did.

btw, why didnt you ask Boeing to also pay $2.7B for the 150+ Nigerians who died in plane crashes in Nigeria in 1995/1996?! lol!!!!

whatever the plane manufacturer gives, its an extra bonus (they dont have to pay anything), because plane crash settlements are paid by the INSURANCE company, duh!
