He should address security issues, using security measures, this sentiments towards the marauders is the reason of all these anger and tension in the polity, his advisers should advise him well.

If the country was good, safe and secure enough will people be migrating out of Nigeria in droves?.

Don't just put in effort into power generation but into power generation also.

If the energy that Buhari put into RUGA was channelled into other sectors of the country we will see immense improvement. It's surprising that this president actually pulled all stops to make sure his mumu RUGA saw the light of day. Meaning he can solve a lot of pressing issues but he doesn't want to

Terrible failed promises of barawo bubu and APC everywhere.

boman2014:
Aso Rock, Nigeria’s seat of power, will be getting at least N11.5 billion as its allocation in the 2018 budget.

Of that amount, N45.68 million was budgeted for power plants and generator fuel. N45.54 million was budgeted for the same item in the 2017 budget, N140,000 lesser than that of this year.

Also, a total of N1 billion was budgeted for the Aso Rock Medical Centre, while it got N331.7 million during the 2017 fiscal year, thus an extra allocation of N668.2 million.

This is different from the N36.8 million meant for “drugs and medical supplies” for the state house – and yes, the N1 billion covers a sum of N208.3 million meant for the same purpose.

There is also a separate N51.8 million budgeted as “medical expenses” for the seat of power, and another N15.8 million allocated for “digital medical references”.

Last year, TheCable found out that the state house clinic – not used by the president who seeks medical attention abroad – did not have the commonest of medications, paracetamol, syringe, cotton wool etc.

The sum of N907.1 million was budgeted for the purchase of new vehicles for Aso Rock while N165 million would be used for the maintenance of existing ones. In 2017, N100.8 million was used for purchase of new vehicles while N188 million was budgeted for maintenance of available ones.

A total of N28 million was budgeted for the state house ranch as well as for “wildlife conservation capture”, while the garden, “routine floral arrangement” and upgrade of helipad grassfield got N24 million.

1United1:
State Governor, Mr. Babatunde Fashola, has said the only way the country can have stable electricity is to vote out the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) from power in next year’s general election.

Fashola, who gave the counsel while marking his 2,600 days in office at an elaborate ceremony held at the Blue Roof of the Lagos Television premises, said electricity crisis in the country is caused by lack of ideas and insincerity of purpose on the part of Federal Government.

He said,” Yes I agree with you that it is possible to generate electricity and to make sure that everybody in this country has electricity, we have to do the right thing. But you know what, the only way that you and I will have electricity in this country will be to vote out the PDP.
” In 16 years hundreds of billions of naira have been spent and we cannot switch on electricity and in seven years we have created four plants. It shows that something is missing. So unless you vote for All Progressive Congress it is going to be difficult to have electricity.
“They started from vision 2020-20 and I told you then that they were having a nightmare, that there was no vision.
“They moved to seven point agenda and now they are transforming.”

Why do you love mediocrity so much instead of holding your integrity leaders to their promise
What did APC promise?
What have they delivered?

TechCapon:
Not only in the power sector but in all sectors of the economy. The only reason his ruga plan collapsed is because it was primarily designed for the southwest, South South and South East and these regions opposed it.
The north accepted the ruga but he refused to build ruga in the north because it was designed for the south. Now that the south has rejected it, he decided to cancel it altogether and activate plan B which is ranching.

But if every southern states sell 20 hectares of land each to fulani in the name of ranching, automatically they have gotten their ruga.

The ranching should be managed by the state govt and the stakeholders with some support from FG.
