Earthquake3: the problem with some of this country team coaches is that...they want this players to become good and exceptional all by themselves. you've to help them too...they're young folks..who may not know how gifted and talented they're and abilities they've got. help them see this...and teach them how to bring it out |

BascoVanVeli:someone else who would have done the job please. he is not a saviour... he played like every other player...that day was just his day. but in this afcon. ..we really need to remind ourselves... this may not be the tourney for him to shine let someone else he tried. |

Humility017: So all of a sudden Rohr is no longer the person that hires coaches for his players and visits them to see how they are fairing? |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by Humility017(m): 9:47am On Jul 04, 2019 |
Mybettingtips: no thanks to the German coach... I really think regardless of the afcon the coach should be asked to leave... If we really wanna recruit coaches... indigenous coaches amunike siasia or the NFF ask the current assistant to step in for the time being (the former rangers coach) I still believe a good foreign coach who is patient and willing to work in Africa should be sort...preferably a Spanish or dutch coach not the seedorf and kluivert kind ooo |

Humility017: If this report is true, then two things are sure here. 1) Rohr is very much likely to be sacked even if he win the AFCON. its obvious that Nigerians, the NFF, the players and stakeholders in our football aren't happy with him 2) Both Ighalo and Balogun may be benched |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by BascoVanVeli(m): 9:48am On Jul 04, 2019 |
Danielnino00: I remember Haiti playing Spain and only losing by 2 goals to 1. They are not as bad as their ranking says. Economically it is hard for them to compete |

BascoVanVeli: he did that for Ebuehi to aid his recovery same for Uzoho and who else... but I am talking of bringing in this lads abilities they're lacking to bring to the table... you can help bring out this qualities in the team like a good F. taker, Make Iwobi grow confidence and abilities to shot and score from afar... and also help chuks develop a good end products for his display in the long run... and even help Etebo improve with his passing etc... you can let this players know this politely, encourage them and also help them to outshine these weakness |

Danielnino00: let both be benched...and pls tell him not to go bring in Onachu we have seen him play... let oshimen be tried. |

BascoVanVeli: FIFA ranking is a scam though. There are some European countries that won't even Match Mali, but are ranked higher than them. Most of those European countries have FA that can afford organizing friendlies every now and then,so they get to have enough points on their ranking unlike the not so bouyant ones that depend on their govt for money and only get it during major tournaments. 1 Like |

BascoVanVeli: I wish he can just do the bolded... I will be so happy and likewise millions of Nigerians..... it will be celebrated globally..... the national team don't need him as much as he needs the national team... the bonus issue goes to show that they're mainly doing this for what they tend to get... so if he does not get to play...someone else will....and will even do much better. please also tell Tijani to forget about the national team too....we don't need him |

BascoVanVeli: I understand he tried in that regard.... but managing a young team like this come with so much work... especially as some of them never had the opportunity to grow in worthwhile academies like in Spain, Portugal, Netherlands, Germany etc.. even those that had this opportunity still need to be helped to improve on areas of their games where they need to sit up. if you really wanna achieve an extraordinary success as a coach then you have got to the extraordinary and go extra mile.... no work is too much as long as it will birth success in the long run |

Humility017: You must be a joker to say that Ighalo cares about bonuses. This is a man who gives half his salary to help people. What the heck does Tijani have to do with this conversation. Taiwo Awoniyi and Stephen Odey dey there dey wait and you are talking Tijani. 1 Like |

Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by Humility017(m): 10:22am On Jul 04, 2019 |
BascoVanVeli: what concerns us with how many coaches does this...? I am concerned with the super eagles if he was doing this prior now we would had a good free kick taker by now and also iwobi would have been more productive as an AM. also he won't have to bench chuks against Madagascar rather he would have seen those runs, dribbling and ability to beat defenders as an asset... we can get creative end balls from that....but he does not see all this. even companies train their staffs to the abilities they want from them... |

BascoVanVeli: good he is that kind.... please let him sit on the bench and not go to start bug Rohr to play him like he did against Argentina |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by BascoVanVeli(m): 10:36am On Jul 04, 2019 |
Humility017: If no other coach is doing it then it cannot be something you call a weak point in his coaching. Most these players have world class coaches at their clubs why isn't this being done there? What you are asking for isn't in the job description. These players are not children they know what they need to improve upon and how to go about it 1 Like |

BascoVanVeli: You jumped in without looking at the context in which l looked at his goal tally. Which is only goals scored in the league competition not play offs or cup games. In that respect Osimhen scored 11 goals in the Belguim league 2018 /19. |

OMANBALA1:What keeps wracking my mind is who was the god damn coach that made an unknown Eto'o Cameroun's main striker in Afcon 2000? And the lad delivered. Rohr is a dry old stick of a coach. He should be in the museum of our football history not standing on the sidelines as our coach. Russia 2018 thoroughly exposed that man. Prior to that time I was one of his staunchest defenders but since that time I realised that na Akpu and Starch football we go dey play under Rohr. 2 Likes 1 Share |
