700-megawatt Dam China is ripping you off big-time. Nigeria has a population of 180 million building 700-megawatt dam. Ethiopian bill 2500+ megawatt dam and their population is much less than yours. 700 Baker what Dam is what other African countries used to build in 1980.

well, economy and political issues tends not to be a big deal. but in the mater of domestic issues like marriage, there is traces of tribal differences in the North but you might not know. hardly will shuwa arabs hand over her daughter to kanuri man unless he is very rich. even Hausa don't marry fulani as easy like that. just of recent fulani are getting married to Yoruba in ilorin. A development very uncommon in the past. And you know what. It is the prominent Yoruba of ilorin getting married to the royal house of fulani.


The tribal differences is not as tough down west anyway due to religion.

There is difference between Niger Hausa and Nigeria hausa. The Hausa language is even difference though understandable just like Yoruba in Nigeria and Yoruba in benin rebublic. The northern actually know the diffrence and some of us who have spend considerable years in the North.

If you want to know how Nigeria take immigrants issue serious, you may need to visit seme border. The northern border is very porous and base on religious similarites with Niger which is very dear to the Hausa than nationalism, they care less about regularising them.
