We have all become wiser. The seat belongs to the party and not to the individual. If anyone decamps at this point, he or she will lose the seat. More importantly the seats are in PDP strongholds.

The National Working Committee of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has suspended Hon. Ndudi Elumelu and six others.

The six others are Hon. Wole Oke, Hon. Lynda Ikpeazu, Hon. Anayo Edwin, Hon. Gideon Gwadi, Hon. Toby Okechukwu and Hon. Adekoya Abdul-Majid.

They had been summoned on Thursday by the NWC over the role they were alleged to have played in the minority leadership tussle at the House of Representatives on Wednesday.

Poor u.... Gbaja didn't nominate Elumelu. He only read what was submitted to him by the minority members (not party as u claimed). PDP is not the only minority party in the house of rep and can't just nominate anybody from the comfort of their homes. Selection must be made at the house..... Majority wins (Elumelu)

99 members signed the letter that the speaker read and nobody has denied signing so far.

Appending signatures to a letter is concurrence. Ndume was removed as the senate leader though the same means and nobody asked Saraki where the APC caucus met to vote for Ndume removal.

Does it matter anymore? I just think pdp should keep cleaning the ranks. It still shows there are still unfaithfuls within the party. They shouldn't rush it but work on themselves. APC have been able to compromise the system too much, it will be difficult to get fair judgement. They should relax and wait for the right time to strike.....
