Lol ha ha. Same reason I dumped the redmi note 5. Xiaomi phones always have this problem of missed notifications and ram management. On redmi note 5 I missed a lot of notifications, they just won't pop up until u open the apps then all of them will start coming in. Apps like Twitter etc basically don't get notifications until u open them. I have see a lot of people complain about the same thing on the RM7 on YouTube.

It's not the hardware but an MIUI thing. I wish xiaomi could just do without MIUI

For my RN7 na me dey even restrict background notification sef........ notifications comes in like mad.....even some apps like telegram wey I hardly open.....Twitter own comes like die wey dey even piss me off...... notification both wen it is on sleep mode......

Then get a memory card of 32gb or 64gb. It will expand your storage so you dont feel the reduced internal storage. Some people may not have that 47K.

On second thoughts, the money for memory card will be enough to buy the 32gb variant of the fone.
