Thank God Mikel is not around with his bad luck.

When Mikel won this same Nations Cup with coach Keshi, was dat also Mikel's bad luck?

My own take on the game.
We still have issues with our goalkeeping department, akpeyi is still jittery and lacks confidence.
We still need a playmaker. Iwobi is good but not the kind of playmaker we need in big games.
Ighalo has proven himself again, he has shown that he would deliver when he gets proper services.
Moses Simeon should start from the bench. He is also good but chukwueze is better than him.
The combination of ekong and omeruo is a good one but they need to communicate with each other when on the pitch.
Ndidi has shown that he is a proper Defensive Midfielder, I wonder why he didn't make the best team from the group games.
Musa really did well today, he is truly a captain.
How did Onuachu make this team? He is a tall striker with a lot of hype but I haven't seen his best yet that is even if he has anything good he can offer.
Our Coach should just psyche these set of players up for the next game. This is just the starting point.

NiggasInParis:
Game over! Ighalo man of the match..

What I have learnt from this match. Nigerians are funny creatures.... grin

When they were winning Nigeria, the country was shattered everybody was abusing Buhari, cursing Atiku, segregating individual players by their tribes.

When Nigeria equalize and then was leading, everybody mood enter gear, everybody happy, that man that off him gen go on am back, grin we started supporting the players and helping the Coach, it became a thriller. What a great country!

Did someone heard the commentator's last statement?

He said... Sometimes, these games that we hype up, don't live up to expection.

He was cut off b4 he could finish d statement.

What he was going to say was; sometimes, these games we hype up don't live up to expectation but this one obviously did not disappoint.

I don't believe in the coach and generally, I believe for Nigeria to be great we have to learn to do things ourselves.

By the way, I was quoting Ighalo.

When we are winning and the temple of the game is very high, we need Mikel to come in, hold the ball and slow down the game. I pray we don’t use that green Jersey in our next match

So if he has no brain how did he become a professional footballer? You think a European team will employ an African player who has no brain? You can say he does not fit well in this team, but saying he has no brain is going way too far...I hope you realize that.
