Does that mean we'll fund the dorm with 8,829 plus 110 = 8939?
not necessary plus 110. just make sure it is more than 60 euros. the 50 euros was deducted in the BA balance so you would not have exactly 8,829.

Abeg I don’t understand how this new appointment booking system works. Do I still need to mail my admission letter and BA confirmation after I’ve gotten the reference number sent to my email?

Yeah right. it’s good to put like 9k and when the transaction has been done, you can withdraw the balance
The problem is availability of the money, not to deposit. Discussed with them all through yesterday, that was their suggestion

No Nigerian bank will allow you withdraw foreign currency.

You can only deposit and transfer, You can never withdraw.

So just do all the calculations well before you deposit the funds.

Also, some banks allow you transfer all the amount in the Dom account and even take the transfer charges from a Naira account. Standard Chattered allows this.

For other banks, just deposit and know how much you can let go.

Cheers!

We are in same boat, however after reading the info in the previous pages, I took the advise of BSc holders that successful had their interview with Category A going for another Bachelor, I cancelled and booked A over a week now. Meanwhile, AD has become scare and till now I have not gotten a date. My little contribution is that you should read the previous pages and inform yourself of the decision to make. Remember this is journey of life and it has RISK taking as it's integral element. Booking Category A should be worth it. Hoping that embassy will open the flood gate of AD by Monday. Note; this is my prayer point. Danke.

Am glad you got the point in our last discussion, wish you the best of luck.
What did you put as study visit date?
,
I will advise those registering now with enrollment extension up to end of October, to be putting 1st or 2nd week of October as study visit date.
I am sure more dates would be rolled out but I hope d won't start ignoring early start dates based on feasibility of getting Visum at d appropriate time, except for the reshuffling and little adjustment to still fix people early, is believed d last dates given were early September like 2nd or so, definitely d would fill it up like d did with June this year.

Now for Cat B, if I am u, would be checking for second options already like proxy enrollment or even deferment to Summer, so that should u not get date before September end as d said, u can apply very early to get a date in October hopefully, remember is only Fridays d allocate for Cat B judging precedence.

Don't say is easy to talk, I am giving you pragmatic, realistic ways to still have high hopes, during my time of waiting and the whole discouragement, I made some enquiries and at d end got approval from two of my schools to resume by 11th November, I had already filed a new application for a program that could still be deferred to Summer, that is (Winter and Summer resumption), had already drew some formidable plans to outsmart this embassy before God stepped in and showed me mercy. So don't just sit there and be waiting aloof, start weighing on plan B already, July will remain 2 weeks from next week.

I wish us all d best as we strive to enter our rest, God help us

If it was the embassy that sent you the date... don’t worry yourself, I once got may 29 and I was worried but I went anyways, it was for certification (people came for interview that day too) and when I applied for visa interview I got June 12 (I later canceled it because I didn’t get admission before June5) my first admission came on June 11. All I’m saying is they know their own public holiday, if it’s not a federal holiday in german they will work

My friend cancelled his June 12 date due to no admission yet, now you too.
Just June 12 alone, 2 slot cancelled and probably wasted.
We are doing ourselves and blaming embassy, until d start new system of booking like paying visa fees prior booking, this would keep reoccurring.
D thought it was only Cat B people that don't honor their Appointment.
As I write now, some are on verge of cancelling theirs too while many patient ones no come get date over 3 weeks of getting Admission.
Rat race, if you ask me and is all our fault, not embassy.

Bruh!
Same thing I keep wondering. The embassy changed the former system to make it easy for us to get dates, now many of us are abusing it.
So many cancellations have happened between April and July. Now everybody is clogged between August and October.
Very soon, the embassy will only be taking people with Scholarships serious since it seems many people who booked cat A did so without admission and now have cancelled.

Please, don't let us spoil things for ourselves.
If you don't have admission yet, its better to wait till you do, or once the school gets in touch with you that you stand a chance, then you can book.

I hope we will adhere to instructions.

Cheers!
