Great, could you post a screenshot of the results? I want to see what it shows when it is successful.
Thanks.

Honestly I do not know how to use the GPS stuff since I never use it. By successful, I mean I didn't get the error message i saw in your screenshot and my apps are all updated as I follow everything squarely. With this in mind, I think it is a fair conclusion to say it should be working perfectly

Guys how do I make my smile sim work on my note 7 it flashes and goes. I have tried provisioning it for just LTE only using the ussd code watched Video and still nothing.
Is anybody using it here.
I have gone through the compilation thread and nothing worked for me.

Hi. Please try manually searching for Smile 4G in your area, using another network's 4G Sim. Go to your "Sim Card & Networks" or whatever it's called, make sure you switch to 4G/LTE only, then change "Automatic Network Selection" to "Manual network selection". Your phone will scan for all the available 4G networks your phone supports, and can detect in your area.
Fun fact, Smile uses LTE band 20 (also used by Intercellular).

Well......... I would really appreciate seeing your successful screenshot.
While you are preferably out doors with a clear sky,

type *#*#6484#*#* on your dial pad,
Scroll down and tap on gps to start the test.
Wait for about a minute or two for the test to complete,
Take a screenshot and let's see.
If possible, you can crop the top half of the screenshot.

Anything short of a successful screenshot will not hold water in court grin

10w is not safe? Wow... Can u show us wer that information came from

Your phone won't even charge at that rate from 90% upwards.

Another thing is that it's not the same current that enters a phone that goes to the battery. The phone circuit system steps down whatever current that enters your phone to make it suitable for battery charging.

BOE, if I'm correct has already done that with the IPS. They should be ready for mass production later this year or early next year. So from next year, we should have IDPS on IPS panels and that should make the price a bit less expensive.

Yea, you are correct.

You are funny. You have already bought the fone and you are asking if its a good buy and the difference between R7 and RN7.
You should have done your research prior to purchase.
Dont come here and start ranting about the R7 oh.... I will not take it lightly with you. I am a R7 user.

Don't do it. I ordered lingerie, when it arrived I legit shed tears at the low quality fabric. It was so different from what was advertised. I opened dispute and got half of what I paid. It's better to shop for clothes in physical stores where u can try it on and see the fabric quality.

bro calm down, they're trying to help you . If you pay attention you'll learn one or two things that may be useful to you not just in your phone but other electronics.
Do you have knowledge in electrical/electronics device? If you do you'll understand their concern.

You dey mind am, I did the same thing with my Bluetooth speaker, The follow come battery was 1,500mah, I changed it to 10,000mAh, I achieve my aim that the battery can now last a week without charging.

By I lost the sound quality
Now the battery send to much current to the speaker, giving it extra Bass, anything above 70% volume it starts making some sounds, the speaker can just go off at anytime, I need to use charger to wake it..

Experience is the best teacher, let him experiments.

Those claiming 10watts is safe at ~90% what do I know ! cheesy

You need to look at the screenshot again...
1.9 at 84%
0.6 at 84
And 1.2 at 92%
And that 0.6 is wat he was complaining about... Hell that can't be fast charging. Macbeyland also confirmed it... The cable was having issues on his own unit.. Changed to new cable and it was charging well.

That's why I dropped the argument. Let people believe what they want to believe. It is just like people who believe when light is low it is low current meanwhile it is the other way round

Happy Sunday everyone, please I've been having browsing issues with my RN7 , At the village I served there's no MTN 4g and the and 3g was browsing well though bad at times , then I saw 4g when I got to Onitsha on my way to Benin yesterday and since then browsers are not working and it takes ages to send and receive messages on WhatsApp despite its showing 4g and the bar is full, thought it was MTN iss and subbed on Glo today and it's still the same thing , I've checked the settings thoroughly, rebooted severally, right now I'm posting this with my sim card in my mum's phone, any solution will be appreciated.
