Chelsea seal deal for Brazilian super starlet Lucas Piazon


Lucas Piazon has signed a pre-contract agreement to join Chelsea in January 2012.
The fee for the youngster, who Chelsea have watched for the past two years, could rise to £8million.
The 17-year-old Sao Paulo starlet is rated as one of the hottest prospects in Brazil and is representing his country at the Under 17 South American Championships.
Piazon has drawn comparison to Kaka because the Real Madrid star also came through at Sao Paulo before heading to Europe, but the teenager is more of an out-an-out striker than his midfield senior.
The fee from Chelsea will help the Brazilian club pay for Luis Fabiano, the 30-year-old Tottenham target who snubbed a move to England to return home from Sevilla.
Piazon has scored twice in three games in Ecuador, a winning goal against Venezuela and a strike in a defeat against Paraguay that broke through the net.
He was the top scorer in the 2009 Under 15 South American Championship, hitting 10 goals - twice as many as his nearest rival - when Brazil finished runners-up behind Paraguay.

Another GOOD buy !

Juventus had first option on him and had him in the bag but were reluctant to further spoil football by offering a 17yrold 1mm Euros in his first professional contract in Europe.

I foresee this guy flopping. You should never buy an U-17 player based on his physical capabilities. He maybe able to out-accelerate his mates, but when he plays against grown men, he will find his level.

chelsea is abort presenting england with a brazil exptension at senior level just like arsenal is doing for frence at junior level.
we are after neymar who has confirmed his readiness this time after listening to his parents last summer when we went for him. the progress of luiz and ramirez is a good news to the brazilian team so we expect more of them.
since the owner of chelsea is not as stingy as the arsenal community, we will raid brazil of quality players in our readiness to bring in class into england.

You see yourself? Because am armed with more info to analyse the situation properly, you say na "prophet of doom" don come. 

What you failed to note is that this boy is slated as the new Kaka, for his ability to accelerate away from opponents.

Now Tim Vickery (BBC South America correspondent) said that the boy was a don at under-15 level due to his acceleration. . . . but when he played U-17 recently, he wasnt so spectacular, because he was playing against boys with superior pace and physical capability to the U-15 chaps.

Thats why I said that shining at U-17 level means nothing especially when you shine cos of your physical qualities.

i think what we lack here is a refree that will tell us that u and i are saying the same thing. it is not just about footballers, it is about human beings. in whatever you are ddoing in life, some people are looking up to u and like the footballers, u are like a commodity before those who look up to u. every living being has fans. if you listen to nigerian musicians, they make sense most times. there is one track by D'Banj. actually i am not good with yoruba language but i can make sense out of that song. he says; some people dey want make i fall some people dey want make i slow oluwa jee oo or something like that. in whatever u do brother, some want make u fall and some want make u slow while there are still some who want u to progress.
