The mombassa you are talking of is a very,very old city vilage with so many unpainted and unrenovated old building. That's another city I can confidently say you should try and tell me if you would encounter a single pot hole, or roads without streetlight, or without pedestrian lane. Yes there is a lot of intra-africa trade that can happen. Kenya already does 48% of it's trade within Africa. I think the big prize is Nigeria which is a consumer market of nearly everything - from tomato paste to refined oil.
