My younger friend was arrested for being in possession of a charger without phone,he was accused by the police of stealing the charger because he had no phone with him at that moment had to bail him with 15k angry

Cops all over the World 're just corrupt. Anyway not all of them. Na so them raid my apartment on Tuesday and they didn't find anything, they always believe that every Nigerian in South Africa is a drug dealer. They started asking for my Passport which I showed them, they started asking for the slips of my properties which I didn't have some of them cuz I bought some stuffs from friends and on the street. They took 4k rands I kept in my wardrobe and left just like that

You don’t know Nigerian police...just pray u don’t encounter the evil ones among them... they arrested me and my friend for driving... that’s what I would like to call it... cos we ddnt do any other thing asides driving...
He searched the boot of my friend who is a medical rep for a pharmaceutical company... he robbed him took anti malarial, pain killers and viagra
He accused us young boys as a whole for not being nice to policemen on the street, that we are fortunate to be graduates, imagine us having cars... cos he asked for all our IDs and realized we all had jobs.... the bastard further said he felt like shooting us and planting a gun on us claiming we are thieves....we begged for our lives like he owned us....clearly he did cos u don’t mess with a man holding a kalashnikov.... he later took a total of 1500 from us and let us go... that’s how we left we would have slept in the station...
All they need to say u are “suspected” something
That word gets them out of anything like “we tried all we could” gets doctors out of every dead patient case...

in 2004 i was on my way to viewing center with my brother when we got picked up along with other guys.i was just 16 years and my bro 19..they took us to their station and was requesting we call our relatives to come and bail us.few others whos family where around come and bailed them.sadly the police went to bring more innocent people to join us their,some were been bailed more were been pick up. we where chained like armed robbers..no body was around to bail us,untill one of them{woman}felt pitied for us and begged others to release us and they refused.so she angrily went to tell DPO.when DPO came,he was so angry and commanded them to release us immediately,which they did..This time,it was around 1am,everywhere was quiet,we had to trek with fear in heart to our house,which was very far away..The experience was horrible.so with Nigeria Police anything is possible.

So they are arrested not 4 watching football but for SUSPECTED cult activities yet they are told to produce 40k each to regain their freedom without investigation? Is it in d interest of d society 4d police to release suspected cultists back into d society without ensuring that they are properly investigated?

That police station is very notorious for such misdemeanor. The DPO should be answerable for this. Is it a crime to watch football match again. Let us push fro the DPO of that station to be posted to sambisa Forest. He will be a performer catching Boko Haram.

Why are you still watching matches outside since it's that risky? One day they will shoot while you are jumping out of the window and label you a robber or yahoo boy. Can you watch at home, please? Your life is more important than football smiley

They hurt and torment innocent citizens just to raise money to hire harlots and drink wine! They have ceased to fear God, the judge of heavens and earth. That is why they die before their time. I remember watching some group of secondary school girls playing football one Saturday evening at Enugu . This was like 16 yrs ago. Two police men just rode up with Bike to me and said I must be one of the boys that come to rape those girls. Despite showing my Student ID card then,I was given option of parting with money on me or being taken to station to sleep in cell till Monday. I had to let go the feeding money on me before watching football would turn to rape case.

This is why i didn't really feel any pity for those policemen killed at bayelsa last week, you never know who had planned a revenge mission on them for whst they might have done to some people, its gradually getting to the stage where officers will just be gunned down in the streets anyhow

just a month in university when I was in 100 hundred level I was arrested. We were watching match at viewing center around 7pm. All of a sudden a police van came and arrested us for watching match. My brother pray it doesn't happen to you. By the time you remember this your post you will be in cell by then.

Thanks a lot. Like the ongoing AFCON, I watch at home. But European football on the other hand, you can't really compare when watching from home. But I SHALL watch from home when the new season is back ON. Thanks smiley
