Top 10 Nigerian Music Videos In 2019 by phxafrica: 5:35pm On Jul 08, 2019 |
In the first half of this year, the Nigerian music industry has released quite a number of hit songs that have left lots of Nigerians reeling over their songs. Both upcoming and established artists have already left their marks, which has left everyone in high anticipation over what is in store for the second half of the year. Let’s check out the top 10 music videos so far in 2019. Joeboy – Baby This video got over a million youtube views, which was quite unusual for an animated music video by an upcoming act. It tells a simple love story between two charming characters. Balance by Timaya Timaya started the month of February 2019 with a new hit single titled Balance. The song reflects back to Timaya’s early days when he started music with nothing. It also takes us to the present day where he has made it in the entertainment industry. Sparky by Santi Nigerian Altè singer, Santi comes through in 2019 with an impressive new cut titled “Sparky”. This comes after the release of his 2018 bangers “Rapid Fire” and “Freaky” which got rave reviews. The new single, “Sparky” was produced by fellow alte act, Odunsi The Engine. Ello Baby by Young John, Tiwa Savage and Kizz Daniel This single tagged “Ello Baby” was actually inspired by music producer and serial hitmaker, Young John. He made a monster beat and linked with Tiwa Savage and Kizz Daniel for a superb combination. Anybody by Burna Boy The 2018 Nigeria’s and African Best Artiste who has been selling Afrobeat to the world with his series of Tours, performance at international music festivals and hit songs released a new single earlier this year titled Anybody! In this Afrobeat song he says, anybody that doesn’t want to dance to this tune, should be hit up. Talk by Falz Falz the music activist come through once again about the issues, immoral acts and social dramas going on in the Nigerian society on this new record titled “Talk“. Madu by Kizz Daniel Madu is unarguably the best track off Kizz Daniel Sophomore album, he recently dropped the visual of Madu. Confirm by Patoranking and Davido CONFIRM by Patoranking featuring Davido is a song that inspires hustle and talks about having it all. It was a great and rather subtle blend between Afropop and dancehall. Dangote by Burna Boy Multiple award-winning artist, Burna Boy began the year with an impressive single titled “Dangote”. True by Kizz Daniel DMW singer Mayorkun came through with an impressive collaboration effort titled “True” with Flyboi INC honcho Kizz Daniel. The track was produced by Young John & Lussh.
