So we can rightly say that sharing very fine details of the interview is wrong, but can reading them or coming here to source them out be regarded as cheating, willfully trying to gain undue advantage? Ethically are the readers right to remain on this thread even when they know they will be exposed to undeserved information, arming them more readily than their counterparts ever were? So who is wrong?
A) posters only
B) posters and readers

Or are they smart?

As a matter of fact, I agree that giving out direct questions affects your chances, and gives another an edge to perform better.
However, what I have issues with is the fact that those who are screaming "ethics", "right and wrong" have all read other people's interview experience, and used it to prepare for theirs.

They only became righteous and objective all of a sudden because they don't want others to enjoy the privilege they've enjoyed.

Question for such guys
Would you be on this thread if people weren't sharing their experiences and questions?

I have applied for other jobs where I got far in the recruitment process because previous candidates shared their experience. I do well to drop my experience for posterity as well.

Just try to put some water in the well you drink from.
If you don't intend to do that, stay away from the well, or at least, don't put dirt in it.

So, I went through your posts and did not see anywhere you gave your interview questions for others to benefits. From Sterling Bank to Standard Charted Bank to KPMG to PwC interviews, I did not see you drop your interview questions!

Sometimes, the expo can lead to the beginning of your interview failure especially when a question you expected was not thrown at you. Am not for or against giving expo here it's what you do with it that matters. Sometimes open book for exam, if you are dumb, you may end up copying the wrong thing and sometimes the person's name.

Goodluck everyone.

This ur question ehn,
It has always been like that.

The answer is debatable.

Those who came here to source for info know very well there are some naive people who want to do the nice guy, get high number of likes and will drop all what's needed (all that happened to dem). Those lying in wait build on that to improve their performances and better equipped too.

I have a friend who won't write a job test or attend a job interview without sourcing for expo especially if it is on different days.... In his words, one person go surely drop what I need, one nice guy and he always aced it as he is better equipped.

The best thing to do is to share your detailed experience after the whole interview for the posterity guys, dis is a competition and can't be compared to school exam (different in entirety) if u performed so well and think u would get 95%, another person might score 98% and get d job.

Don't boast in your performances and start sharing the finest details, remember close to 6000 candidates are being interviewed and lot of other factors will come into this thing.

I have attended an interview that I answered all d questions correctly, was applauded by the panel and yet didn't get d job. It was a shocker to me.

I have learnt one thing as far as labour market in Nigeria is concerned, don't sing praises for yourself until you get offer letter.

After your interview, share clues with those that needs it, go and rest in one place and keep hoping/praying/trusting God for help. Even with 100%,ur name can be removed by just anyone in there.

Lot of things happen behind the scene.

Nice one. I believe those ones dropping interview questions are naive and want to get attention.

Also, they feel they have performed well enough. Not knowing that the more they talk, the more they are depreciating their chances.

Aside that, it is a malpractice. I cant trust such people in job. In there mind, they are thinking they are nice and not knowing what they are doing is bad. You just destroyed other people from respective states who practiced well without external help. You are not different from an exam cheat.

An advantage of 1 percent could be difference of success and failure in a tight competition like this. After everyone has done interview, u can den start dropping your interview and interact for the people seeking the later job opportunity to learn.

It is very unfair for those candidates who did interview first. Let it all be even. If you truly deserve NNPC, you wont be going up and down checking for expo. Guess that is how most of them had 2.1 and first class at school.

You go for your interview and miss some questions (or maybe get all) come here and share all the questions. Another person learns from your mistakes before going in and prepares better. The person is asked almost the same questions (e.g safety questions were repeated in almost all panels daily) and aces them. No matter how you deceive yourself, that person will score better than you and have higher chances than you.

I agree, they check for a lot of things beyond your answers, but your answers matter- keep serving free food to others on a platter of gold.

Tomorrow, when you lose out to your competition, you'll come here and start ranting on how the process is not free and fair.

Share your info all you want, copy from others' info all you want but please nobody should make noise here after the selection process.

Receive sense!

Nice one. They dont know school is different from this. Many of them sharing are otondos who just finished school or new nairalanders seeking attention. In school, if you tell people the questions u sat for, it is not going to affect your score performance as your marks will not be reduced. There is also no different between 70 and 100 as u all score A. But in this, 1 mark is the different between success and failure. You are also competing with your respective states.

Those ones asking for expo are hypocrites. They wont share such in that situation and are looking to manipulate the otondo corpers who just graduate quoting God to deceive them. They are naive and want to get attention. They feel they have performed well enough. Not knowing that the more they talk, the more they are depreciating their chances.

You are among those looking for expo cheating people up and down. Change your waays and dont share any question till the interview session stoiops.

God is the most Forgiving. Seriously, we all need to change our ways. I feel bad for Nigeria.

If bright and intelligent Nigerians in this thread have this bad mentality and immoral, what then would the average Nigeria have. How can Nigeria grow? Do you think is by magic that country improve? It starts from the people.

You complain about how Nigeria will improve yet just this little things our youth keep on disappointing and cant get it right. They lie on God no wonder that even though we are religious, yet we are the most corrupt and wicked, doing yahoo yahoo and ritual killings. No where is safe because of this bad mentality of Nigerians. How am I sure you guys will not do worst destroying Nigeria if given the chance. Yet they complain up and down.

You’re really pained. You think if you don’t share experiences so you automatically get the job. With or out expo if you’re destined to get the job, you will get it. Do you think it’s only the interview question factors that matters in this recruitment. No wonder Nigerian like you are not moving forward.

I am glad there are sensible people here on Nl. There is a world of difference between academic intelligence and wisdom. One may be a 2.1 or first class graduate but may lack wisdom and common sense.

Obviously those who are sharing detailed info about their interviews are doing it out of excitement either cos this is the first major interview they have attended or cos they feel they have gotten the job.

But one thing I am certain about is that those who are doing such are their own worst enemies. As for me, the favour of God will definitely see me through to the medical stage and ultimately getting the APL.

Thanks. If Seun and lalaclastilala can start banning anyone who share interview and test question when it is ongoing. It will be good. If not, both of u are part of Nigeria problem.

In time, I believe Nigeria will change for the better as it changes our mentality steadfastly. Morality must be imbibed by force.
