EFCC harassing small small bois. Let them convict the top politicians then we'll know that they are serious: politicians threw the country into such a mess; and now they are the ones making EFCC go after yahoo boys, while they buy properties abroad and fund their children's education with stolen funds.

But Buhari why? Mr hmh-integrity can endorse Ganduje for second term despite video evidence, overlook Babachir's grass cutting scam, ignore Tinubu's bullion vans, but won't let small boys provide for their families with a few scraps.

Even mechanic and olosho are losing business because of this crackdown by EFCC.

I'm not endorsing anything or anybody, I'm just wondering why we're worrying about cockroach when there's a viper in our backyard.
The day active senators and governors are jailed long term for corruption is the day Nigeria will take a turn for better.

I'm only interested in the number of years because if it is the usual 2 years, these fraudsters will resume their evil activities when they are released within such a short time.

MODIFIED.. So it's even one year imprisonment. The EFCC lawyers seem to be fraudsters themselves for continuing to record these 1 year prison terms for fraudsters who have sent some people to early grave.

God bless you my brother for these words of wisdom. Believe it or not we still have serious and dedicated Nigerian youths willing to go the extra miles to make it. Agreed the country is nothing to write home about but must we make it worse? Because of these yahoo ''ritualists'' we have as youths Nigeria is already a mess internationally and it's affecting everybody. Please EFCC should do the needful and arrest more of these bigots and much more lenghty sentence should be given to them.

At this rate, a lot of young men would be scarred for life o! Let us think of other options to dealing with this malaise.
These convictions is akin to taking away hope from most of these young men. They become ineligible for so many things in the future and when they realise this... The reaction cannot be determined.

This pattern is brewing another monster.

Malvila:
It was again harvest of convictions for the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Benin Zonal Office on July 5, 2019 as 17 internet fraudsters were convicted and sentenced to various terms of imprisonment by Justice Nnamdi Dimgba of the Federal High Court sitting in Asaba, Delta State.
.
.
The fraudsters were arraigned separately on one count each of impersonation and obtaining by false pretence contrary to Section (22)(2)(b)(1)(ii) of the Cyber crime (prohibition prevention etc) Act 2015 and punishable under Section 22(b)(IV) of same Act.
.
.
The suspects include, Lukman Sarumi, Udaze Sylvester, Bassey Ibrahim, Nelson Aimieyekagbon, Felix Joshua, Udo Omoiyabra, Ikpomnwonsa Raymond, Endurance Adedugba and Welch Samuel.
.
.
Others are Abiodun Sadiq, Patrick Enahoro, Favour Okushi, Joseph Michael, Lawal Opeyemi Muyideen, Oladeji Tobi, Toafeek Dauda and Adepitan Oluwabunmi
.
.
The charge against Sarumi reads: "That you Lukman Sarumi (alias Le Xuan Dong) sometimes in February 2019 in Warri, Delta State within the jurisdiction of this honourable court and with intent to obtain property, did obtain the sum of $1500 (One thousand five United States dollars) from one Xuan Nguyen by fraudulently impersonating one Le Xuan Dong and thereby committed an offence contrary to Section 22(2)(b)(ii)of the Cybercrime (prohibition prevention etc) Act 2015 and punishable under Section 22(2 )(b)(iv) of the same Act "
.
.
He pleaded "guilty" to the charge when it was read to him. Similar charges were also preferred against the other defendants by the Commission and they aĺl pleaded "guilty".
.
.
In view of their plea, counsel for the EFCC, Larry Peters, prayed the court to convict and sentence the defendants in accordance with the plea bargain agreement between the prosecution and defendants.
.
.
Justice Dimgba, thus, convicted and sentenced Sarumi to one year imprisonment without an option of fine.

Just so you know, I decided a long time ago that, if
God no bless my legit hustle let me remain poor.. I told God I would gladly be poor than do any thing illegitimate to get wealthy and I must tell you, God has been blessing me tremendously... One thing you must know is, if you channel your mind and your energy to something legit and say deep down to yourself "there's no other option than this". you wouldnt even need to pray before seeing positive results but the problem with some of our youths is their mindset... They have the mindset of; if legit no pay I go run street make am... The right type of mindset is, if legit no pay, I go try another legit... And I assure you one legit must pay.. Remember; the same condition that is driving some youths into fraud and all forms of illegitimate vices, is also driving some of us closer and closer to our dreams in a legitimate way...
Reconfigure your mindset bro..
