We are talking about the side that is not neglected which is your cbd. The way you guys boasts about it got me think that it might be something but I am surprised that there is absolutely nothing there that fascinates me. See leave skyscrappers, skyscrappers doesn't make a city,if it does then the whole of Europe would be thrash. Have seen casablanca, cairo , cape Town and so many.
First some many thing needs to come first like underground drainage against flooding, a city as to be pedestrian friendly mostly at its cbd, proper zoning of shops and buildings, shanty buildings should be destroyed good roads most especially at the cbd, clean transport system at the cbd be it a bus or a tram or even a city cab, streetlight has to be planted, wide roads are needed, carpacks should be provided not parking on the roads of the cbd, gutters should be sealed shut. Do all this and see how nairoslum will look even if you just arrange a storey building along its. A perfect example is windhoek. .a city with less skyscrappers but an adorable cbd. Uyo has started all this and all it is left is planting buildings at it's cbd


Whoever planned nairoslum did a bad job because even me that didn't do urban and regional planning will perform better. Dar cbd looks more organised

Nigeria has spent billion of dollars on insurgency and other internal imbroglio yet we are still waxing strong.
Truth is that, amidst our many woes we are still better than some countries including Kenya.
For example, no Nigerians have ever witnessed the type of extreme starvation prevalent in Turkana on a good day.

Anytime you are confronted with how ugly you guys are you try to defend it.
