Things took a different twist for a Twitter user after listing all the things the woman he will be walking down the aisle with this weekend has done for him on the platform.

@BobPhondo in his tweets, recounted how his fiancée paid his rent when she realized he had no place to stay when they met. He also disclosed that she bought him his first car, gave him her laptop when his was bad, covered costs of their dates for a year among other things. However he got told by Twitters users that he is getting adopted, as they also described his fiancée as a 'hobosexual' and attached the 'gold-digger' tag to him.

Who set the standard that a guy must always be one providing for a lady? I am very sure the guy in question helped the girl financially in some way even while he was broke. He had the courage to call her out and thank her for everything she has done for me, that's shows dignity. I am pretty sure his lady is proud of him.

why shame go catch am, I dey ask why, when your Bf dey give you why u nu shame. The way most women reason gives me a cause for concern, is only ok if it had been the man that did these things but certainly not an abomination on the other way round, entitlement mentality has almost become your middle name, the world did not end when men were the ones killings themselves day and night providing for ladies even as far as paying thier rent, school fees and the likes but all of a sudden is about to end cos a woman did it.
