I also submitted mine the same day and it was ready exactly two weeks after (28th). they didn't call or email me, i had to track it continuously till it was ready and i picked it up the following week on the 2nd of July. So if you haven't tried tracking it, please do.

How does one track it? Will I need to input the CALA followed by the numbers?

Yes, you can. But aware that after getting the new admission letter, log in to your online gckey account and update the new DLI name and number. It will be updated by IRCC automatically upon getting notification of any update or change of your personal information in their system or database, without you calling or sending a message.

Note that, by doing this in Nigeria, you have to be prepared for any surprise question at the POE, so do well to have a tangible reason for the change. Preferably, at the POE, tender the new admission letter first and if asked any further question relation to the change and the previous admission letter before you tender it.

There is no harm or consequence changing your course or DLI in Nigeria, but its more better in my own opinion changing it within Canada.

Good luck!

Good morning, Mr Frankrobbn1 (a selfless man with a good heart). Quick one, my background check and eligibility review are running simultaneously and I never got BVL after reapplication. The eligibility review commenced immediately my upfront medicals updated to pass. Just wondering based on what you said...Should I be looking forward to get another BVL or will the one I got during my first application suffice?

Thanks for the compliments. As per your question and afore bolded, It's an indication of positive feedback from IRCC, you should be looking forward to receiving another BVL since it's a new application followed by a passport request.

Just got my GCMS note. How do you recommend I tackle this? Also, does this mean that there was no issue with the proof of funds docs submitted? Can someone who successfully got a visa after these reasons help out, please?
