Buhari is a special breed. People like him only exist once in 500years.

Call him Disaster of nature or call him a Natural disaster, either way, you're correct.
When I saw this comment I can't help but smile, giggle, and wiggle in amusement grin

Poor pdp commentators above are are calling Buhari "mumu" yet non of you can read English language.

Nigerian Constitution states in ENGLISH, that the ONLY Educational qualification to be President is O level Certificate OR its equivalent!!!

"Equivalent" is defined by the Nigerian constitution, among other definitions, as :

"THE ABILITY TO READ AND WRITE ENGLISH LANGUAGE."

NOW who is the Mumu here?

Once the SAN establishes that Buhari can read and write English language, the international thief, Atiku will move back to Dubai to enjoy our STOLEN commonwealth.

Don't derail the argument like the mumu SANs. Buhari said he has a WASC in his affidavit. Buhari should show the tribunal his WASC or he stand disqualified. Period.

Atiku rest. You will just go to court and waste your time, money, influence and emotions. Go and face your businesses

To be fair to Buhari though, I've not heard him "shell" yet when speaking English. He may speak it with such a thick accent that sometimes makes it hard to follow, but so do many Irish and Scottish folk.

Whether he has a secondary school certificate is another matter entirely. grin

Derail what?

You pdp types are the ones trying to confuse the uneducated.

Buhari told the world the Army lost his original certificate.

The Examination body, provided an attestation of Buhari Cert, yet the international thief, born in Cameroon claims that Buhari is not qualified educationally to be President.

I then provide exact verbatim Nigerian Constitution's provision that all Buhari needs is

"The ability to read and write English language "

So what exactly that I wrote in English did you not understand?

Buhari DOES NOT need WASC Certificate to become President.

All he needs as far is the Nigerian Constitution is concerned is :

Ability to read and write English language.

Re: Buhari’s Ability To Speak English Dominate Tribunal’s Proceedings by Deepthoughts: 4:45pm On Jul 09, 2019
chisomdoris:
Questions of whether or not President Muhammadu Buhari can speak the English language have dominated the Tuesday’s proceedings of the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal in Abuja, where the Peoples Democratic Party, and its presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, are challenging his victory at the February 23 poll.

The first two petitioners’ witnesses who testified on Tuesday were inundated with questions by the lawyers representing Buhari and his All Progressives Congress – Chief Wole Olanipekun (SAN), and Lateef Fagbemi (SAN).

The questions were informed by the petitioners’ claim in their petition that Buhari was not academically qualified to run for President.

Testifying first on Tuesday as the petitioners’ seventh witness, the Niger State collation agent for the PDP, Tanko Beche, said he trained as a lawyer.

Asked if he watched Buhari’s and Atiku’s campaigns, Beche said he watched that of Buhari and participated in that of Atiku’s.

Asked if he was aware that Buhari spoke in English particularly in the southern part of Nigeria during the campaigns, the witness said he was not in the position to confirm.

Asked which class he was between 1983 and 1985, he said he was in primary school.

He was also asked who was the Head of State during the period, Beche said, “History has shown me it was Muhammadu Buhari.”

Asked if he was aware that Buhari was addressing the nation in English as the Head of State, the witness said, “The President should address the nation in English.”

Taking the witness stand after Beche was the Chairman of the PDP in Katsina State, Salisu Maijigiri, who was also confronted with questions about Buhari’s competence to speak English.

The witness, who noted that he served as the state collation agent for his party in Katsina State during the presidential election, said he was born in 1963.

He said he was aware that Buhari was the Head of State between 1983 and 1985.

Asked which class he was in at the time, he said, “I was in Class 3 in the secondary school.”

Asked if Buhari was addressing the nation in English as the Head of State, he said, “Maybe I was in the village then.”

Is the ability to write, read n speak English now an academic credential, let's stop decieving ourselves, the proof of completing an education programme is taking the prescribed exam n acquiring the required certificate, you can't attend the university up to 400level then drop out without sitting for n passing your degree exams n call yourself a graduate, sometimes I'm amazed by lawyers, how can olanipekun a lawyer with several certificates be defending someone without the required certificate so shamelessly, now if one is to call olanipekun a quack won't his certificates be his defense?, individuals are daily been requested to provide all sort of certificates as requirement for employment in this country yet here we have persons supporting someone without certificate out of sentiments what an irony!, I'm sympathetic to the pdp but I didn't support Adeleke's case due to his questionable credentials,we can't be talking of development n be rubbishing the value of educational pursuits because of bias n sentiments.

And by the way, what's the relevance of this question in the first place? What has Buhari's ability to speak English, or lack thereof, got to do with the INEC's rigging of the 2019 election? What am I missing
