It is called strategy. Only Nigeria armed forces do publish theirs on social media.

What political strategy do you think the Government can implement? undecided

Why are both making beer parlour assertions.

You make programmes that will apply across States. Different programmes per state will cause more confusion and same time set-back plan and enforcement. Its not logical when you have to enact a programme in 6 states, only to enact another law in different states when all is for same cause. This is just 1+1 of leadership and management skills.

... Except for our laws- Penal Codes in the North, Normal Law in the South.

Political? For God's what concerns government with private businesses? And when last did the herdsmen pay their income tax to warrant government intervention?

They are not welcome. They are dangerous with government always on their side. Until human lives become important to them, they should keep it themselves.

We Don't Want Herdsmen To Suffer, We're Going Ahead With RUGA Settlements Despite Suspension - Gombe Governor
After meeting with President Buhari on Friday, Yahaya said the state had reserved over 200,000 hectares of land to implement the scheme.
BY SAHARAREPORTERS, NEW YORK JUL 06, 2019

Inuwa Yahaya, governor of Gombe state, has said his administration will go ahead with the RUGA settlements proposed by President Muhammadu Buhari for herdsmen.

The controversial initiative, suspended after a public outcry was proposed by the federal government to end the incessant clashes between farmers and herders.

After meeting with President Buhari on Friday, Yahaya said the state had reserved over 200,000 hectares of land to implement the scheme.

He said, "President Buhari’s intention on the RUGA settlements scheme is laudable and the people of Gombe, who are predominantly Fulani will definitely key into it," Yahaya said.

"As I speak to you now, Gombe state government has set aside over 200,000 hectares of land for the implementation of the RUGA Settlements scheme in the state."

“So, because some states rejected the scheme doesn't mean that Gombe state will not go ahead to implement it.

"Up till now, I don't want to believe that the pilot scheme has been suspended. We are going to continue with it, because to us it’s a very good initiative in view of the hardship our people (herdsmen) are now facing."

"We need to find a lasting solution to their predicament so as to save their lives because they are Nigerians too."

"So, I don’t want to believe that the president has suspended the scheme – this is worrisome and may be inimical to our people."

It's not my beef till it's been bought n paid for. If he wants to sell, he will make arrangements to transport it to where he has buyers and the cost will be factored into the total amount.

I think the issue can be solved by having one central land in a place like Abuja instead of all the states in Nigeria.
Oga why central? And why Abuja anyway? Have they not done enough harm to the Gbaris already?

The large expanse of unoccupied land in the whole north can accommodate every fulani herdsman world wide.

This can be negotiated with all the stakeholders. We should all agree to have one central settlement where all the herdsmen can be contained.
I think you should agitate for a new state for them instead. I know osunbande is your master but it you should know where to draw the line.

That will only be possible the moment you stop buying their beef. I believe the Government can sponsor private farms or abbatoirs in improving their respective farms/ranches.

Truth is that the fear of Nigeria disintegration remains the greatest threat the Hausafulanis hate to see it happen.

Every move done by BuhariApC is aimed at getting a highly mixed southern Nigeria with sizeable Hausafulanis Muslims as indigenous owners of south so that the hold to the sustenance of one Nigeria would be guaranteed. This what RUGA is all about
I agree.

Fortunately I don't live in a country that does not regulate the sale and production of it's meat product. The system works well where I reside but that does not mean that I should be unconcerned with the plight of my people. cool

Dont those same people transport and receive goods on the same roads everyday? Why should beef be different? What makes road unsafe to transport food suddenly?

Why cant they adapt business model? Why aren't the regulatory agencies working on said issues you mentioned? Would NLTP solve issues you mentioned?
