Based on my observation..i think they tell u 2weeks if they know u wont be called back.so that u can move on asap

i think that's relative..i have close people at exxon and chevron and they all tell me to pick shell if i have offers from 3 of them which made me think shell and exxon salaries are pretty close to influence changing from one to the other. They also explained the relative positions which was in favor of shell. Also shell branches into more opportunities for interests such as carbon capture, thermo-electric coupling etc
