While the organization has wrestled with exactly which procedures of modern medicine do and do not fall into this violation, the basic premise that blood transfusions are contrary to Scripture has persisted since the early 20th century on into the 21st. The alleged biblical case for this has also stayed largely the same. The July 1, 1951, Watchtower magazine presented the case as follows:

As for your question regarding blood transfusion, I doubt you'd be going to a JW hospital if you needed a blood transfusion, and if they knock on your door and you say "you're not interested", I'm certain, from my own experience of them, that they would dust off themselves the dust from your doorstep and depart from you, and not break down your door and insist on entering your house as you imply they would!

Of course we have a global medical team of professionals who knew so much about blood transfusion and the hazard behind it. So they're the ones who goes from one hospital to another training their medical personnels how to treat patients without BLOOD TRANSFUSION.

One secret that most people are ignorant of is that 'REAL medical personnels themselves will never opt for a blood transfusion' because they know the menace that will result from it! Most strange illnesses emerging today are results of transfusing blood from one living creature to another, because God has warned thousands of years ago that the life of each creature is circled round THE FORMATION OF IT'S BLOOD! But they'll prefer using unlearned people as means of experimentimg their discoveries. And the unprofessional religionists amongst them will prefer to see the patient die because they hate people who claims to have unshakable FAITH {Jehovah's Witnesses}!
