In the first half he switched to the left wing cus he thought he could get a piece of Awazeim grin ...In the second half he switched back to the right cus he thought he could beat a match rusty Collins grin ..he was pocketed both times...

Iwobi meanwhile made light work of ur defence to set up our first goal grin

I hope you are not accusing Awaziem and Collins of pick pocketing Tau

Watching Rohr barking at the sidelines showed he is a man that listens. That was what Odegbami asked for, even though I do not feel it is that important, Rohr was able to listen and adapt.

I hope our indigenous talented coaches like Siasia, Amunike and Oliseh can learn some humility from Rohr.

The man is really humble. He always explains his decisions.

Some of his speeches are infuriating though, like playing down our chances and the latest one on Onyekuru.

They did. Awaziem did so on his own most times

But Collins had help from Ndidi but he also did well for someone that is match rusty

iVORY COAST OR ALGERIA.. I DONT EVEN KNOW WHICH ONE TO PICK.. I WOULD SAY ALGERIA
I'd say CIV, Algeria have been the most impressive team, yet to conced a goal and I think they've scored the most goals

We have all missed a very important development from this match

Chukwueze scored with his right leg!!!

I remember some moons back...some people arguing here that he is ONE-LEGGED

Chei. On Sunday Nigeria will be the away side and will adorn that bad luck jersey again!

There is no such thing as a bad luck jersey. The players and tactics are all that matter.

Musa,IMO has gone pass the stage where he can be taught new things...his pace will be gone in a few years... and playing in Saudi Arabia won't help much...
We may just have to continue managing him like that..

Yes you're right

He will soon fizzle out although he would always remain a legend

I still ant to see Onyekuru in our next match at least for 5mins. I am not saying Musa didn't play well today ooo. Far from it he really made that full back look like a Vulcanizer named Moruuf.

But I hope we get to see Onyekuru's brilliance and se his contribution to the team

Gernot Rohr continues his impressive run as Super Eagles coach:

✓ 34 games
✓ 20 wins
✓ 5 draws
✓ 9 defeats

Only Clemens Westerhof has recorded more wins as Nigeria manager. (Copied)

He Just booked an AFCON Semi-final Spot... The man has delivered. You can do whatever you want with him afterwards.

forgiveness:

The South Africans attacked through the right wing because they noticed Ahmed was not helping Collins and succeeded in getting a goal as a result of that.

What Rohr needed to do was to bring in a player to support Collins defensively and also attack though he ought to have done that before the equaliser hence the need to introduce Simon.

I don't think Onyekuru was the best option to nullify the South African's tactics of getting the ball through Collin's wing.

You can see after Simon Moses came on he did the job very well and there was balance.

It was all about tactics.
One way or the other - we needed the balance of having one wide forward and a winger if we wanted to eventually win.
The Balogun sub should've been for covering whatever wing that was leaking.
If we had gone to extra time - I honestly don't think we would've scored(maybe from open play)

I am brutally honest....I was one of the people that rooted for Ighalo when most people here think he was trash....same with Iwobi and Mikel(both are from my state) but Iwobi cant give more than what he has given. Mikel is goodbye.

But Rohr must go.

Rohr just need tactical assistants who can read the game better. Honestly, I was also rooting for his exit but having excellent assistants is a better and more humane strategy. Remember he built this team.

This time whatever jersey we wear will give us good luck. we wore green when we demolished Mali in 2013 afcon. we wore green even when we beat the great drogba, toure brothers, chieck tiote (rip) and green again when we won that tournament. So relax even if we are naked, we shall win by God's Grace. grin grin

The white then was the "badluck Jersey"before Nike changed the Jersey during the world cup
