I was in ife then, it wasn't a nice thing to behold. Finished secondary school few years back, seeking admission to OAU. I could remember how one of the cultists was arrested in a street not far from our place, he was strip unclad and beaten to stupor.

That's exactly the story our senior colleague told us. Back then on campus, every July 10, pictures of the massacre are usually displayed and when you see the dismembered bodies of these students, you will almost cry.

I saw this in 2009 when I went for post ume. Ife was celebrating 10years of Afrika's struggle. Ife was literally shot down that day. The pictures of their dismembered bodies lingers in my memory.
