When you talk about ball control there is no super eagle player that controls the ball like Chukwueze.

You need to see how he controls long balls on the wings when playing for Villarreal. The ball sticks to his feet. My prayers for Chukwueze. He is a star and he will reach beyond his potentials. Amen.

Una don start oooo. No super eagles controls the ball like Chukwueze.

Make I understand you well. Explain yourself.

A generation can always have more than one golden boy. No rule says it must be one. We have seen journalists use the words, "One of the golden boys of Brazilian football/Nigerian football"... So it is not uncommon to have more than one.

The truth remains that you guys wanna keep the spotlight on Nacho when he is not even in Egypt. Why don't you just focus on those in Egypt and keep the spotlight on just them? Is that so hard to do?

And no matter what your understanding may read to you... You still referred to Nigerians as fickled minded. You didn't say some... Or several... You simply said "Nigerians"... Meaning "all"... I guess you are responsible for that comment too. smiley Learn to focus on the ball Oasis... The digs were simply extraneous and unnecessary.

Again...... Put aside your Emotion to understand the Message. I owe no one Apology but just wanna set the Record straight.

I was glancing through the Pages only to see majority of Peeps calling Chuks "Golden Boy". Was Iheanacho never called "Golden Boy"?! The Truth is; We, Nigerians, only appreciate the Rave of the Moment.

My Words, your Understandings. I'm responsible for my Post, but ain't responsible for your Interpretation of it.

Though I don't agree with your point if view, the fact that Nacho is still being mentioned only means that he is important.

He was saying more than that. Nacho is still young. Not like he has finished his career. The hype Chukwueze gets today is not his fault... Same hype surrounded Nacho and for good reasons but setbacks happen in football. It is no new thing.

Chuks had his struggles too for a period when he was being benched but he bounced back.

I knew that goal was offside. VAR is only a tool. It is still being misused upandan! angry

So how exactly is this offside?

See when Tau took the freekick he was offside, yes. But the problem is that it was Ighalo that headed the ball back to the SA player, in that case Tau's freekick is no longer the reference point.

For emphasis go and check Suarez's goal against England in the 2014 world cup, he was in an offside position when the ball was lofted forward but since Gerard headed the ball backwards then it was correctly judged to be a back pass and Suarez scored.

Back to this case Ighalo's touch was not a deflection neither was it not deliberate, so it becomes a back pass and even if the SA player was standing with our GK when the kick was taken he automatically becomes inside because it was a Nigerian that passed the ball to him. Brilliant use of VAR if you ask me

That is a fact. Nacho is still a golden boy. Nigerians still silently await his comeback because the majority know what a genuine talent we have in him. It is not uncommon to have more than one golden boy. Even Osimhen is another Golden boy of Nigerian football.

Let's just keep the focus on the players in Egypt. Nacho still making the headlines here in Afcon season is awkward.

Don't mind some of we fans.... Lol... Na the Joy of Chuks' performance dey induce amnesia. Even Awaziem's controls in the gane were masterful.

Etebo was on point too in ball control. Is it Ndidi too? How about Iwobi with his world class first touches on show.... even Aina while playing has shown beautiful controls even with his left.

It is well. No need for explanation from the brother. wink

was kinda a back pass because it was Ighalo's back the ball hit and not the South African player

The relevance of the picture i uploaded is this. When the free kick was taken there was an active south african player in an offside position. This violation should have been penalised immediately and thats why the linesman flagged it. The play was allowed to develop further and the ball came off Ighalo before it was headed in. My point is that the play should not have been allowed to develop at all. This is the correct application of the offside rule.

No Sir, the offside player was not in anyway interfering with play, he was meters away from where the ball landed na. You judge an offside based on if the player is interfering with play not just because he is active. You are active means you can be running like he was doing but you are interfering with play means you are directly concerned with the ball and it's movement. That was not an offside in anyway

Truth might be bitter but it must be said regardless.

Did I take a Dig at Iheanacho?! Perhaps your understanding, but to me, just referring to an Example.

I advise you calmly re-read the highlighted Part by you, then you are definitely gonna understand the Message clearly.

I completely agree with your statement.

However considering the number of fanatical supporters candidates and the over the top accolades they are placing on him Chukwueze. Mirrors the same thing they did to KC.

Chukwueze and Musa were the joint MOTM for me but just as l had expected in my earlier predictions before the match. That we would this match by maverick wing play from Musa and Chukwueze. There was very intelligent play by Awaziem, who played within his limits. ( lack of pace) took no risks.

Chukwueze the maverick young player did the opposite, sometimes " he who dares wins " but not all the time.

He would be very wise not to let this get to his head. One game doesn't make a player. And consistency is birthed from several seasons of football not one. He is other tight path

So you are ABSOLUTELY right to give a word of caution.

We beat SA like I expected with intelligent and unpredictable wing play. But it was hard fought we lacked cohesion sometimes and played off the cuff. This left Ighalo with very little service. Which again was expected we were never going to run through the midfield and dominate.

We will have to strategise differently for the games ahead. There are still question marks with our Defence.

So bring on Algeria and like l said from.the beginning of the AFCON we are not the favourites but VERY SERIOUS CONTENDERS.

He did not move towards the ball na. That guy that was offside was the eventual goalscorer. That guy didn't move towards the ball

That guy that was offside right there was the guy that eventually scored, not the one that went to contest for the ball with Ighalo. The guy that was offside didn't go to contest for the ball he just ran towards the far post waiting for a flick on, so he was not interfering with play.
